Brand new for 2021, Golden Lion Apartments is home to three stylish apartments. Finished to the highest standard, each apartment has beautiful interiors throughout. Located in the centre of Whitby with everything right on the doorstep, you'll be able to enjoy the many restaurants, cafes and shops on offer. Whether you're planning a romantic retreat, a getaway with friends or a family staycation, Golden Lion Apartments is bound to impress! Home Truths: - The apartments are located in the centre of Whitby and are therefore subjected to seagulls noise. - The apartments are opposite a pub and there can be noise, especially on the weekends. - The building has a number of floors and the stairs can be tight. Please note Simply Scandi is on the first floor, Modern Industrial is on the second floor and Cosy Coastal is on the third and fourth floors. The apartments therefore may not be suitable for those less physically able.

Golden Lion Apartments are located in Whitby town centre so you’ll be perfectly situated to explore the many restaurants, cafes and shops on the doorstep. Nestled on the West Cliff, you’ll find fun arcades and you’ll be able to sample the catch of the day in one of Whitby’s famous fish restaurants which line Pier Road. The Blue Flag West Cliff beach and promenade is just a short 5-minute walk from the property so you can really make the most of your coastal escape. The other side of Whitby is full of narrow, medieval streets dotted with boutiques and pubs. Climb the famous 199 steps up to the Church of Saint Mary. You can also discover the renowned ruined Whitby Abbey, which was the inspiration for Bram Stoker’s gothic novel ‘Dracula’. Step outside of Whitby and you’ll uncover a haven of woodland and moorland. Whitby forms part of the North York Moors National Park so it’s the perfect place for long walks.
