Perfectly situated in the centre of cheddar and great that there is room to park your car. There was a separate entrance to our room which was pleasant and comfortable. We had a good night’s sleep before leaving early morning.

Rory was a great host , the room was comfy and the breakfast was outstanding ! ! Do yourselves a favour and book this if you visit the gorge, you will not be disappointed. 👌

United KingdomCovid 19 meant fe guests, so social distancing easy, and the Hotel had paid a lot of attention to the Regulations. Near to Cheddar Gorge, and quick access to other facilities. Enjoyed the breakfasts, and given first one free.

Rory gave us advice and recomendations where to eat. Breakfast was fantastic. Owners if asked would open up room if you ordered a takeaway. As you cannot take takeaways into your room and they only did breakfast. But enough restaurants within a close proximity to Gordon's. For you to eat at. Which included Thai, Chinese Indian and fish and chips.

DUE To the autbreak our main concern is the Safety of our Guests, Staff and Family SO unfortunately we will NOT be HOUSEKEEPING of the Rooms during the stay! Our bed and breakfast offers the choice of 12 different rooms for our guests to choose from. All rooms have tea & coffee facilities, hairdryer & TV and WIFI in all areas. We have a small bar area where our guest can enjoy a drink. Our guest can also enjoy the use of our outdoor heated swimming pool (heated during May to September) or just sit back & relax in our garden. We have limitied parking facilities, however we are situated opposite a pay & display car park ( where parking is free between the hours of 6pm-9am 7 days a week)
My Husband & I moved to Cheddar from London in September 2015 with our five year old son. Since then we have been busy renovating the bed and breakfast with the majority of the rooms now having a complete refurbishment. We are enjoying a new life and very much enjoying meeting new people and welcoming them to our facility.
Gordons is currently located in the centre of Cheddar within walking distance of the Gorge and caves. There are many local pubs and restaurants within walking distance of the bed and breakfast. Weston Super-Mare is within a 20 minutes drive which offers a beautiful sandy beach any many shops. Glastonbury, Wells and Bath are just a few of the many local attractions within the surrounding area.
