it's one of those places that the number 10, do injustice for the place we booked the entire house for 1 night and the only fault is ours for staying for 1 night the hosts did anything they could to make our stay better the beds were great, the shower, superb, great living rooms, all kinds of treats and extras

    Hi. Thanks for asking. No, this is a bed and breakfast accommodation which don't generally have cooking facilities but in ours you can re-heat takeaways in the guest lounge microwave. You might want a self-catering unit with cooking facilities?

  • hi I'm looking at booking.com for 2 adults and 2 children aged 1 and 5 and it shows we would be able to stay in your superior suite. Is this correct.
    Yes, The suite allows up to four guests with any combination of adults and children providing there is at least one responsible adult.

    Check-in is between 4pm and 10pm however, it's helpful to know what time you plan on arriving. Any requirements outside that will need to be confirmed by us first, such as leaving luggage at Gowanlea Heights earlier or using the rooms earlier.

Gowanlea Heights is a Visit Scotland 4-star Bed and Breakfast in a great part of Campbeltown. It is nice and quiet yet only a five - minute walk from the centre. Gowanlea Heights B&B is an 1870 Victorian House once owned by the Duke of Argyll and passed to Duncan Ferguson, Procurator for the Duke of Argyll until 1881. Now this stylish bed and breakfast in Campbeltown is waiting for you to stay!
John and David live here in Campbeltown, with their two teenage children and a gentle giant of a dog called Gino. We moved here in 2019 because we just fell in love with the whole area. It's ideally placed on the Kintyre 66, the scenery is unbeatable, and it's a great place for kids to grow up in. We've loads of experience in hospitality, and we're all looking forward to your stay!
Campbeltown is well-known for its whisky as well as its stunning scenery. There's a wide variety of independent shops and café's as well as some fantastic places to dine out in. Some of our guest come for the whisky tours, the gin tours and, of course, golf As well as boasting all of this there's a wealth of historic sites to visit too.
