I cannot see my negative comments about the food we had for dinner or any feedback. I said the mash was reconstituted, the frozen vegetables soggy and the pies didn’t have any recognisable pieces of meat in them. Not very pleasant to try to eat.
We were woken at 7am by our neighbour running a bath. Very noisy - like a truck hitting the room. No way could you sleep through it,

The hotel room was very basic, but had everything necessary.
The hotel room was very basic, but had everything necessary. The amazing thing is how very inexpensive it was. The hotel is close to the train station, making it very convenient for us, and the staff was very friendly and helpful. If you're into luxury this isn't your place, but if you're on a budget, you can't beat it.

It is a very interesting town, with a good local football club, a beer museum and a huge Coors brewery.
An (allegedly) haunted house called Sinai with, I believe a moat and some lovely walk ways especially along the canal towpath.

We don’t know this place at all. It’s off our beaten track.
We don’t know this place at all. It’s off our beaten track. My grandson lives in the area and held his wedding at the wedding barns in April. We stayed at St. George’s park hotel on that occasion … because they couldn’t hold a reception due to covid so put the party off until this week. I didn’t like St George’s Park hotel, the food was awful and the noise of drills was deafening … so I searched for somewhere that I thought was nearer enough for an overnight stay. The taxi cost £20 each way to get there which wasn’t great, but the stay at Dovecliff Hotel was lovely.

Very clean and comfortable room. The decor was nice and modern. Rainfall shower head in ensuite and towels, shower gel, hand soap and hairdryer provided.
There is air con in the room which you can adjust to your liking - it kept us lovely and cool in the hot weather we had. The staff were really friendly and helpful and the breakfast was delicious!
The pub itself has a beautiful beer garden which overlooks the trent and you can walk along the Riverside from the garden. If we come back to this area we would definitely stay in this hotel again.
The hotel was lovely and the staff were very friendly and helpful. I stayed at the hall with my parents while visiting family before Xmas. The hotel was beautifully and elegantly decked with Christmas trees, lights, and decorations.
There was a fantastic pianist playing gentle carols in the bar area. This created such a cosy and welcoming atomsphere to relax in and made the stay extra special. Breakfast was cooked fresh and delicious.
Our rooms were very spacious and comfortable. Lots of car parking space. We shall definitely be back.
Great apartment, good location in centre of Burton near everything we needed. Flat was really comfortable, lovely kitchen, comfy bed, nice big shower. Huge TV with a big sofa for relaxing. Location for us was perfect. Easy walk from station, close to large Sainsbury's and close to restaurants and bus stops to get where we needed to go. Was very quiet as well when we were there on a Friday and Saturday night.
Kitchen well equipped with enough pots and pans for cooking. Will be my first choice if I come again.
Really nice spotlessly clean apartment. Plenty of parking and in a lovely modern warehouse development. It's not the biggest space but more than adequate for a solo traveler or a couple. Bed was super comfy, massive TV and great WiFi.. will absolutely stay again if I'm working in the area.
Staff were friendly and helpful, hotel was clean and room was comfortable, we had two dogs with us which was also no problem, the girls at the reception made a fuss of the dogs and made them feel welcome also. Breakfast was well set out and food hot and plentiful, coffee was good.
The property was very comfortable and had a lot of charm—it was the perfect “quintessential” British country pub with a lovely (and lively) bar area. The restaurant was actually much better than typical pub fare, which was a great surprise, and the staff were all very friendly.
The room was lovely
The staff were all friendly and professional
Plenty of tasty breakfast options
There was a nice walk to do in the area
The hotel looked very impressive from the outside
We enjoyed all of the England team memorabilia around the hotel and grounds
You can tell it's an old Travelodge but it's clean and comfortable. Excellent location next to the station and a short stroll to the town centre. Plenty of car parking spaces as well, not free but pretty cheap (£3 for 24 hours).
We were the for a football tournament so the location was perfect. Rooms and beds were lovely and the general decor of the hotel is very much in keeping with the theme.
Staff at the Spa were exceptional.
Perfect for proximity to breweries, and town centre. Was down with 5 others for Bloodstock so this was a very comfortable accommodation to come back to.
