Everything, a beautiful room, so luxurious and very quiet. Perfect location right in the centre of Chichester and with a pretty walled garden. The owners and staff were very friendly which is a bonus when staying on your own.

The room was amazing and so so cozy!! Staff were awesome and so accommodating. Disappointed not to be able to have food available after a long drive but I know they are working hard to sort this.

Where do I start! The room was beautiful and excellent value for money. The views and location truly amazing! I have stayed here before but only seem to be able to manage night at a time as I am always travelling. Would love to spend a week here!
If you have the time and it is running take the boat and go seal watching!
Not too far from the room is Chichester a really interesting place to visit, greta history, good shopping, delicious restaurants

Comprehensive shopping and eateries - we found the people really lovely, chatty and happy to help. So much history, lots to see. You must visit Luckes - independent, fabulous food, lovely staff. The Real Eating company - really good coffee, lovely staff. Our first experience was a bit unfortunate but the manager and staff were quick to respond and rectify that - highly recommend them - they have two venues in Chichester.

Our first visit to Chichester, to meet up with relatives who live locally, we had limited time to explore the town. We wandered around, walked on the old city walls, visited an interesting museum with a temporary display of Star Wars toys and of course visited the Cathedral. Chichester has largely retained the old type of 'proper' town centre with individual local shops in addition to the larger chains which makes it more interesting to walk around.

The city centre is very compact with the main shopping areas, bars and restaurants close to the cathedral and within the city walls.
Would recommend the 2.2 mile walk around the old city walls from where you can stop off and enjoy Priory Park and The Bishops Garden.
Pleanty of cafes, pubs, bars and restaurants to choose from. Would recommend The Barn in Little London which is great for coffee and delicious pastries and the food and cocktails at Purchases were fantastic. Lemongrass Thai restaurant in St Pancras was also very good.
An informative and enjoyable guided walk can be booked from the Novium Museum.

We planned to go to the Pallant Museum and really enjoyed the exhibition which we had booked to see as well as other items on display. The stunning buildings there were Georgian and modern and the coffee shop was lovely. The restaurant looked great although we did not eat there. The cathedral was very interesting and an ancient building with arresting 20th century artworks. The Palace gardens next to the cathedral incorporate some of the old city walls and are peaceful and beautifully planted. The Roman Palace at Fishbourne was easily accessible by bus or train and has an amazing set of finds and mosaic floors. We ate at Cote Brasserie which had lovely food in a low key but smart building.

The Vestry is ideally placed in the heart of Chichester and is an ideal base for exploring the surrounding area, being a very short walk from both the bus and train stations.
Our room was large, clean and comfortable and was well provided with tea/coffee etc.
Friday and Saturday nights are a bit noisy due to the very popular bar downstairs, but a warning was given at the time of booking and was not really a problem.
The breakfast was excellent, being freshly cooked.
Down visiting friends who live down the road and had stayed at local hotels in the past but being a Friday wanted somewhere just for the one night - this ticked all the boxes and will absolutely be our first port of call next trip down. Car charger on the drive. Jane was wonderful - super friendly, room had everything we needed and was beautifully done - and a great breakfast delivered to the door. See you again soon!
Lovely boutique hotel right in the centre of Chichester. Great breakfast in the morning and we had an excellent evening meal. The service was very friendly, lovely decor - secret garden - terrace area and rooms individual and tastefully decorated. A word to summarise Puchases for me would be ELEGANT. Right in the centre of town and a really pleasant stay. When back in the area will be our first choice.
Was expecting a proper Breakfast to be honest but it was just cereals and fruit etc. If you wanted a full English or eggs, you need to go to shop to buy these. Location was a mile walk from Chichester town centre. Good area and parking is outside. Just need to give car registration to the owner to cover permit. Owner was welcoming and showed us around the B&B.
Pleasantly surprising! Lovely hotel, very clean. The swimming pool was a nice surprise! Out of the town centre (but close enough) so nice and quiet overnight. Short drive into the town centre.
Booking directly with the hotel seemed to realise a better price including breakfast than we had paid for on Booking.com.
We loved staying at Purchases from the minute we walked in the door, restaurant staff met us and showed us to the room. The room was lovely and the bed comfortable. You couldn’t beat the location.
The bathroom was the largest we had of all the hotels we stayed in during our first trip back to the UK in 3 years.
Both rooms were comfortable, the stairs were a bit of a hassle as both couples were in their 60's.
The breakfast was excellent and the free parking was a bonus.
We would recommend this hotel in Chichester to anyone wanting a comfortable and good value room.
I’m a regular visitor to the Goodwood Hotel, as one of my offices is in Chichester. The staff are always excellent. Very polite and helpful. The hotel / rooms are excellent with good facilities. The food, especially dinner, is exceptional.
Gorgeous cottage in a lovely semi-rural location with spacious rooms that are clean and comfortable. Lovely and quiet with a small verandah, perfect for a sunny evening.
Close to Chichester and Arundel, which are both nice to visit.
A great location right in the heart of Chichester, fantastic staff throughout the hotel, superb bar, a very comfortable room and a wonderful breakfast. The Harbour Hotel is now on my list to stay at when I'm in the area.
The apartment was very spacious with a large living area and bedroom. It was modern, good shower and it had everything you needed. It was a short taxi ride to Chichester town centre. There was an Aldi nearby (walkable).
Quiet location ,modern and clean, with parking on site.
Only 5 mins drive to centre of Chichester.
Hostess very friendly ,and offered lovely fresh cereal, fruit, and toast for brekkie x
