Room was great and large size. The surrounding country side was beautiful. The place was immaculate. Breakfast was wonderful with home make bread and jams. Just can't say enough good things about the facility. There is an excellent pub (The Fleece) just a short distance away for good eats. Would like to have stayed there for a couple more days.

  • Hi - Is there anywhere locally we could get a takeaway from in the current climate? Thank you.

    The Plough at Galgate offer a take away menu, also the Mediterranean 3 at the Holly. (both approx 8 mins) There is Thorpey's Fish and Chips on the A6, 9 minutes away. Mr Wang's Chinese in Lancaster is 13 minutes. Hope this helps Sally

  • Hi, looking to book as a stop over on a charity walk on 29/04/22. we'd need an early check out of around 5am would this be possible?

  • Hi, do you you do late check in? We would be arriving off the Isle of Man ferry which gets in at 11.30pm so would arrive 00:00-00:30. Thank you!

Set in peaceful location yet not too far from civilization, GreenBank Farmhouse was a cheese dairy in a former life but was converted to our lovely home in the 1980's. We moved here in 1997 and have added to and made changes to put our own stamp on it.

Simon buys, tries and flys RC helicopters, Sally sews and would be happy for anyone to use her quilt frame and they both mollycoddle the pet sheep.

We are so lucky to live in this small hamlet so close to the M6 and Lancaster and yet far enough away from traffic noise and street lights. There are no shops or eateries within walking distance of our home, however the Fleece pub is just over a mile away which we are happy to run guests to and from.
