My family and I stayed in Stourcastle Cottage during our 7 day stay. It was a lovely cottage just right for our needs. The property led onto a shared garden, with 2 communal hottubs, which the kids enjoyed. The site itself is well laid out creating a nice little early .morning or afternoon walk. The games room is packed with things to do and is segregated for old and younger children. The tennis courts are well maintained. There is an outdoor play area along with an assault course. The location is well situated for day trips, and easily found by takeaway places, super markets for a food shop and even Amazon.

Our little cottage was very clean, light and looked recently renovated. The whole place was immaculate and a lot of thought had gone into what a visitor might need for their stay. Great facilites on site, laundry room, veg patch, fresh eggs from the chickens, hot tubs, tennis courts, games room with pool, table tennis etc. The location is amazing, rural but only a 6 minute drive into the middle of Dorchester town. Plus we were right next to a huge wood with lots of walks, Thomas Hardy’s cottage and a cute lil cafe that did breakfast, coffee and cakes. The staff were all really friendly and helpful especially Jackie, she is a gem. Really nice place, quiet, relaxing and friendly.

We had a wonderful stay at at Greenwood Grange, the cottage was exceptional, extremely comfortable, spotlessly clean and full of everything you could need. Top facilities, quality bedding, towels & toiletries really make a difference. We checked ourselves in and the cottage looked so welcoming and cozy. We met Jackie the next day who is lovely and so helpful. The grounds are fantastic and the woods opposite are great to explore, including Thomas Hardy’s birthplace, the location is amazing surrounded by beautiful countryside and endless amounts of historical sites. Dorset is beautiful and the team have done a fantastic job with Greenwood Grange, highly recommended, we’re planning our next visit!

The cottage was very comfortable with large double beds and plenty of space in living room. The kitchen was well equipped and we enjoyed a very good evening meal one night using the large table. We loved walking in the woods next door although Hardy's cottage was closed. It was very convenient for us with the dog as we had enclosed garden and could walk him in grounds on a lead. Definitely recommended

This was our fourth visit to Greenwood Grange and it was as lovely as ever. The staff is so helpful and welcoming, the accommodation really comfortable and clean. It's a perfect location across from gorgeous woods and cafe, close to Dorchester with its eclectic museums, shopping and restaurants. We love bringing the dog along for the walks. And the garden, fresh chicken eggs and games room are a wonderful bonus! This was a winter visit, complete with Christmas tree in the cosy living room and we love the bubble man, gardening demos and yoga in the summer. The play area, activities and book collection is great for the kiddo.😊 Thanks for another lovely stay! 😍

The staff were so friendly and welcoming and always there to help if we needed anything. The cottage was a lovely size and was spotlessly clean! The cottage was also in a great location to get quickly to the local town and see the coast. We loved our stay so much!
