The size of the room was great. Staff took our bags up as the room wasn't ready and put the air con on so the room was lovely and cool as it was a hot July day.

The Greyfriars Inn was great, all staff very friendly, our room was excellent, the only problem was the breakfast. We only ate breakfast one morning out of three, this was due to the fact that the cooked breakfast was of poor quality in regards to the food, i.e. bacon, sausage etc. You could also chose cereal as well which was fine but when we go away for a few days we tend to enjoy the cooked breakfasts as we don't have them on a regular basis at home. Buying better quality produce would solve this and wouldn't cost the earth.

The rooms are spacious, well-furnished, clean, and in excellent condition. The breakfast is good and generous, and the staff is uniformly lovely and helpful. The rooms are over the pub, but soundproofing is excellent -we didn’t hear a thing.

  • I was looking at booking a night in your hotel soon. What are the restrictions in place at the moment regards visiting pubs/restraunts due to covid

    Dear Guest We require patrons to book in advance. Further to there is a maximum time limit for the use of our tables which is 1h 45m.

  • Where can we park if we stay here

  • Looking to book a room for the weekend, we live in fife. Could you tell me the restaurant opening hours for residents? Also check in/out times
