Stylish and Spacious annexe in lovely rural location with beautiful views but the convenience of excellent road and rail links. The property consists of a large studio flat with a well equipped kitchen, sitting room area and bedroom upstairs and a downstairs bathroom with shower. We can provide an additional roll away bed and/or crib on request. Please notify us at the time of booking if we can provide baby equipment or an additional bed. PLEASE NOTE: THE BATHROOM IS ON THE GROUND FLOOR AND THE LIVING AND BEDROOM AREAS ARE UPSTAIRS THEREFORE THE PROPERTY IS NOT SUITABLE FOR THOSE WITH RESTRICTED MOBILITY. ADDITIONALLY THE LIVING AND BEDROOM AREAS ARE IN THE EAVES AND AS SUCH THERE IS RESTRICTED HEAD HEIGHT IN SOME AREAS AS IS VISIBLE IN THE PHOTOS. Please note the sofa is not a sofa bed and is not suitable for guests to sleep on over night. If you need the roll away bed and are two guests please advise. This will incur a small cost of GBP10. We provide a small hamper of essentials on arrival to get you started. If you would like us to take in groceries for you ahead of your arrival all major supermarkets deliver to our location and we are happy to take these in for you.
We are a friendly family of 5 and live on site. We are very happy to recommend local places to walk, eat, visit, a guide to the local area, attractions and taxi bookings is available in advance by request. Do let us know if there are any special requests and we will do what we can to accommodate these. If you have dietary requirements, lifestyle preferences or allergies, including vegan bedding, if you’d rather we removed air fresheners ahead of your arrival do let us know and we will make sure that these arrangements are made. We want you to have a relaxing and comfortable stay and wherever possible will accommodate requests.
There are lots of lovely walks and cycle routes accessible directly from the house, excellent pubs nearby as well as local attractions nearby. If you would like us to forward a digital guide in advance we can send this through to you. Please note this is currently only available in English. Although rurally located we have excellent road and rail links from the property. Midgham and Aldermaston station are nearby providing access to London and the West Country. By car AWE (2.5 miles), Reading (8 miles), Newbury (7 miles) and Basingstoke (9 miles) are all within commuting distance. There are also bus routes along the A4.
