We love our room which has more than we needed. A lot of thought has been put in for the comfort of their guests including a lavender spray,chocolates etc. We had a garden room where we could sit and enjoy the air and flowers in the garden. Breakfast was excellent and our hosts were very friendly and helpful. There is a pub next to it which serves a wide menu for dinner. Food was good. I absolutely recommend Guiting Guest House for your break in the Cotswold.

Wonderful hosts, well appointed and spacious rooms. Suitably quaint and old worldly. Pristine little Cotswold village not quite on the tourist trail so great local feel but super easy to visit all the more touristy villages of the north Cotswolds. The Hollow Bottom pub at the other end of the village is great and friendly and has locals and tourists in equal measure. Couldn’t rate Guiting Guest House more highly!

Guiting Guest House is located in the beautiful village of Guiting Power, in The Cotswolds Area of Natural Beauty. The house was originally built in the 16th century and has many exposed wooden beams. Bourton-on-the-Water is 6.2 miles from the accommodations, while the Blenheim Palace is at less than a 1-hour drive away. Guiting Guest House provides free WiFi and ample parking.

All of the individually styled bedrooms offer an private bathroom. The bedrooms offer a hairdryer, ironing board and iron, fridge with complimentary soft drinks and milk, bathrobes, plus complimentary toiletries. All rooms feature a Smart TV and a complimentary hospitality tray.

An individually-cooked breakfast of choice is available each morning in the breakfast room, with a variety of products from cereals, fruits to pastries. At less than a 5-minute walk, there are 2 pubs where lunch and dinners are served. A deli farm shop can be found nearby, along with a popular Tea Room/Post Office.

Guests are able to enjoy the garden full of rose bushes and hollyhocks in summer months, or take long walks through the tranquil village.

We have a minimum two-night booking on all of our rooms – But please always check with us as we might have a natural gap which works for your dates but these single nights will be more expensive due to the extra cleaning involved.
Over the Christmas and New Year week and all Bank Holidays, we ask for a minimum three-night stay.

Hailes Abbey is 5.6 miles from the guest house. Cheltenham can be reached by car within a 30-minute journey. Stratford-upon-Avon is 24 miles from Guiting Guest House, while Oxford is 39 miles away. The nearest airport is Birmingham Airport, 48 miles away.

  • Are there ground floor rooms suitable for disabled please ?

    Hello Jacqui and good evening, We are very sorry but we do not accept pets of any kind, regardless of how well behaved they are. Some guests are allergic to animals etc and we have a strict policy of no pets because of this. Hope you understand.

  • hi I do not drive is the place accessible with transports ? how far is from the centre

    Hi ? We are in the centre of Guiting Power and 6 miles out from most close by villages including railway stations. We recommend a car in remote quite villages like ours, as getting to various attractions, especially over weekend can be difficult.

For a peaceful night's sleep or a jolly and delicious breakfast we would like to welcome you to Guiting Guest House, our home, which is in Guiting Power, a quintessential, beautiful and peaceful Cotswold village. It is situated a few steps from the village shop, post office, farm shop, the church and two excellent pubs. It is surrounded by the stunning countryside of the North Cotswolds and is well placed for exploring the entire Cotswolds region. The house is a 16th Century Cotswold-stone farmhouse. Winter log fires, summer in our garden. Comfortable rooms, breakfasts with local produce where possible, have made it a favourite with guests from many different countries. Friendly, peaceful atmosphere. Lots of walks from our garden gate. We have 5 bedrooms, some of which have four-poster beds, of which all are en-suite facilities. Flowers provide that personal touch, and fidge, hairdryer, bathrobes and toiletries are provided for your extra comfort. Breakfast is served between 08.00 and 09.30am. Check-in is between 16.00 and 18.00. - please phone to arrange otherwise. Taxis are like hens teeth around here - give 48 hours notice for certainty.

Situated in the heart of the Cotswolds countryside. A real working village with its own post-office, farm, shop and pubs with locals who have lived here for generations. Surrounded by farmland with sheep, horses and cattle. Plenty of beautiful, historic houses to visit, walks, great pubs and farm parks. Ideal for all the traditional Cotswolds towns, Cheltenham, Blenheim, Stratford, and Oxford. Open all-year.
