By switching to the Gwyder from another B&B, I got an extra night for the same price which allowed me to travel home on a Monday, instead of a Sunday when transport options are limited. The much later deadline for checking in made my travel arrangements considerably less stressful. I was particularly impressed by the reaction of the bar staff when I accidentally tipped over a glass of red wine which was standing unevenly on the counter. They seemed completely unfazed and immediately accepted my apologies. Very good food served in a nice, traditional restaurant. As I stayed in this selfsame hotel with my father roughly 56 years ago and had not been back since, it was also a nostalgic experience.

  • are two small well behaved dogs allowed with us in the room all so are you close to any cafes restaurants shops bus stop

    Yes we allow dogs at £10 per dog to cover cleaning fees. We are based in the centre of Betws Y Coed which has plenty of restaurants, cafes and bars including one at our Hotel. There is shops and a bus stop based in the town.

    Yes, Our restaurant and bar are open for lunch from 12pm-3pm and dinner is served between 5pm-8.30pm and the bar is open slightly later for drinks

  • Please give specific details about the parking. Assuming there is little space at the hotel we would need a place that offers 24 hour parking. We wonder about St Mary's Church but is that allowed?

    We have 16 parking spaces therefore it is at a first come basis. Although the village it's self has many parking spaces including spaces at the back of the hotel car park on the road for free without a time limit.
