The best place to stay in Falmouth. This is our second stay. Made to feel so welcome, and Ellie is such a wonderful host. Nothing is too much trouble. We were upgraded which was a nice touch, and the room was lovely and comfortable. We slept well. Breakfast was excellent and the quantity and quality was very good. The separate lounge is a lovely place to sit in an evening, and the property has great WiFi throughout, including the lounge. The property is ideally situated, a few yards from the beach, and 5 minutes walk to the train station and town centre. We had a lovely stay and we will definitely be back later in the year. Highly recommended!

Friendly and family-run, Gyllyngvase House offers high quality accommodations, a licensed honesty bar and a lovely south-facing garden with views over Falmouth Bay. The large comfortable garden room leads out onto the attractive terrace and garden, where, on a sunny day, you can sit and enjoy the views out to sea. There is an on-site car park, with limited spaces, and free parking available. All of our rooms with the exception of our single room have private bathrooms. Our single room has its own private bathroom for the sole use of the single room. All rooms have tea/coffee making facilities. A full English breakfast is included in the price and is freshly made using locally sourced produce wherever possible.
Couples in particular like the location – they rated it 9.6 for a two-person trip.
