On arrival adequate parking, Location is great with nice scenery, building aesthetically pleasing and the same goes for the décor inside. The host, Colin was extremely friendly and helpful. The room was cosy and clean, felt at home. Free Wi-Fi available. Complimentary drink was offered. Large clean bathroom. Check out was a doddle. Would return with family for a longer stay.

The hosts were really lovely people. They were very thoughtful in thinking of all the things travellers would need. We were very impressed with the comfortable large king bed, the hanging rack so much better than a robe. The opening window overlooking the street. Arriving at the beautiful pink painted house with flowers under the windows was a happy feeling, especially on a rainy day. The freshly cooked hot breakfast was the best by far on our roadtrip. Internet was good & body lotions etc were quality.

    we have a room on the ground floor with 2 single beds and shower, it is not a disabled room and there is a step up to the shower.

Approximately 160 years old terrace property on the front of Stranraer looking over the shores of Lochryan. We have 4 rooms all are en-suite. The rooms on the first and top floors have lovely views of the harbour and Lochryan. The ground floor room is great for people who have difficulty with stairs.

Colin and Rhona have ran the Harbour Lights for 12 years with lots of previous experience. Colin is one of the founder members of the Lochryan Kayaking Group and is also involved in promoting water sports within Stranraer.

The Harbour Light's is opposite the Marina and a few hundred yards from the lovely Agnew Park. we are just round the corner from the town centre where you will find a varied selection of restaurants and shops
