Haworth Main Street is a wonderful place to amble and check out some very interesting shops abd nice coffee shops .
At yhe top is the wonderful parish church with exquisite stained glass windows .
The church is built on the graves of the Brontes.
Behind the church is the parsonage, famous home to the literary Bronte Family and an absolute must to visit. ( Open at weekends only in the Winter months and easy to book in advance online)
Beyond the parsonage , a lovely path leads up onto the moors and a variety of walks for all abilities.Plenty maps available to check out length and difficulty of walks.
Haworth Railway Station is well worth a visit too with regular steam trains .
Oakworth Railway Station of the famous " Railway Children" is just one mile away and also worth a visit.
We ate at Haworth Old Hall Inn and had a great meal , in a nice setting for a very reasonable price.
We also ate at the Buffet Car Café opposite Haworth Station - great breakfast , and reasonably priced. Really good coffee.
Theres a small wholefood café/shop next to the Old Post Office at the top of the Main Street - definitely worth a vist and a good browse as lots of delights await in there.
Definitely going to return as I want to explore the walking more, though Haworth itself is "hilly" so might be tricky getting around if you have mobility issues.

Haworth is full of stunning country walks which are all easily sign posted, Depending if you want to do a short walk or be a little more adventurous and head miles out. The Bronte falls & top withens is a must, if you manage it. The independent cafes and shops that line the lane are simply beautiful, which adds to the unique character of this place.

The walk to Top Withens was wonderful especially the Bronte waterfalls and Bridge. The Bronte Parsonage and Church was excellent for those interested in the Brontes. Lots of nice independent shops, bars and cafés on Main Street. Hebden Bridge is close by for an excellent walk via the Buttresses to Heptonstall if you are fit enough!

We had booked the Bronte Parsonage on-line and the visit was very good , the Church and Cemetry were next door and very interesting as well. All set within dramatic scenery. The walk to Top Withens is better started at the car park nearby unless you are hardy walkers we started after doing all of the above and gave in and will return to complete the full walk in December. Plenty of places to eat on Main Street if you like eating out.
Location is great, at the top of the hill on the Main Street. Car park directly behind the guesthouse. Car park cost £15 for 3 days which is fair enough. Couldn’t fault the accommodation, room was very clean and comfortable beautifully decorated and bathroom very spacious and modern. Hosts were excellent. Lots of options for breakfast from smoked salmon and scrambled egg to full English I had a small full English which I really enjoyed, sausages local and delicious!
An absolutely amazing apartment! The lounge/kitchen is a great size and has a view of the main street and to the hills beyond. It's decorated well and feels very homely, and has all the cooking tools you need. The bedroom was also large and faced the lane leading up to the parsonage, which is peaceful and leafy. The bathroom has a fantastic shower! Couldn't have asked for a better place to stay and would rebook if visiting Haworth again.
The house was cosy, peaceful and had everything we needed to enjoy our two night stay. The location of the house makes it a perfect place to stay and to explore the delights of Haworth and is about a five minute walk to Main Street. The owner of the house was quick to respond to any messages that I sent to her and was friendly and very informative about places to visit on our trip.
Excellent food: breakfast was fantastic and included in the price. Great selection (choices). It was not a buffet, but served to your table. Dinner was wonderful.
Take the steam train from Keighley (main rail line transfer). It stops maybe 200 meters from the hotel. It's the closest hotel that is also in the old town.
We loved everything about this property. Truly A+. it was such a lovely spot - we’d go back in a heartbeat. Vanessa is the loveliest host and took such great care of us during our stay. She has a heart of gold. We loved the location and proximity to Haworth’s Main Street. Thank you for such a wonderful stay!
Beautiful building, stained glass especially. Good value for money, near to bus stops. Entrance via keypad for the evening. Able to leave luggage after checking out so could explore Haworth a bit more without having to carry it up the steep main street! Very clean and fresh bedding
Great location situated in the centre of Haworth.
Both hosts were helpful and friendly nothing was to much trouble. Room was spacious and the bed comfortable. Breakfast was excellent overall incredible value for money and if ever in the area again would definitely stay here.
Right on Haworth main street, old pub which creaks alot. Second visit, noisy corridor outside room. Busy pub with huge helpings of food. Dinner notas good but breakfast better this time. The huge plus is the bargain price in a prime tourist spot.
Maria Cottage was in a great position on the main street in Howarth, close to all the amenities. The cottage was very warm and my bed was extremely comfortable. There was always plenty of hot water and it was a nice powerful shower.
Very central, lovely & clean hotel. Hosts were very welcoming and friendly and couldn’t do enough for us. The breakfast was delicious.
Wished we had booked for longer. Haworth is a beautiful place to stay.
A perfect apartment for staying in Haworth . It contains everything that’s needed for a short break . Lovely walk to Main Street and the Parsonage . Great to have free parking in front of the building .
A lovely cosy little cottage in a quiet area not too far from Haworth's main street. Very clean and tidy. Super comfy bed. All amenities on hand. Dog friendly.
clock view was a lovely apartment and I loved the fact that it wasn’t like a hotel so I really felt like I was living in Haworth for the days I was there.
