Magnificent breakfast. We were welcomed as old friends. Beautiful manicured grounds with Jan's stone sculptures here and there. Paul can expound at length on many topics of importance (...to me anyway... :) A very stimulating experience, and definitely a highlighht, not just of this trip, but of our travels so far.

Location was very pleasant, only a few minutes drive into Harrogate. The room was as described, large, clean and well presented. Tea and scones ready on arrival was a nice touch. Very nice en-suit bathroom with shower. The breakfast was tasty and well cooked. We decided to eat in our room and the breakfast was delivered to us on trays with tea / coffee and orange juice. We were made very welcome by the owners. Gardens and grounds are well kept but sadly the weather stopped us exploring further. We will certainly stay there again during future visits to Harrogate. Would highly recommend.

Built in 1857, Hazel Manor is located in Killinghall in lower Nidderdale Hazel, 5 minutes’ drive from central Harrogate. Set in scenic gardens, it offers intimate, 5-star accommodations with award-winning breakfasts.

The luxurious, individually-designed rooms and suites at Hazel Manor feature scenic views and quality furnishings. Each has a flat-screen TV with DVD player, tea/coffee making facilities and a Victorian private bathroom with luxury toiletries, hairdryer and bathrobes. Free WiFi is available throughout.

Janet and Paul are passionate about ensuring their guests enjoy the best possible experirnce they can offer. Janet has years of experience as a professional chef and loves to treat her guests to a delicious breakfast.

Hazel Manor is very close to Harrogate, Knaresborough, Ripley and close by are the beautiful Yorkshire Dales, Fountains Abbey, Bolton Abbey, York and many more fantastic places worth visiting, Paul and janet provide a wealth of local knowledge.
