The 3-star Hedley House Hotel & Apartments is located in a quiet residential area, 1640 feet from York Minster and 8-minute walk of York city center, bus and rail stations. The hotel features a 6-people hot tub, and an on-site beauty therapist. Under the same family ownership since 1984, all rooms feature a large flat-screen TV with Freeview channels. Hedley House was tastefully converted in 1984 from 2 Victorian town houses and has now expanded to include 2 interconnecting houses of self-catering apartments and 11 more spacious quality rooms. It has its own private car park, and there is a lounge bar and three dining rooms where award-winning, home-cooked evening meals and breakfasts are served. Food is made from locally sourced ingredients, and light snacks are also available.
