The suite was truly stunning! Beautifully decorated, it felt like we were in our dream home. The living/eating area was stunning and homely, the bedroom outstanding with the highest specifications. The massage chair and the orthopedic bed... unbelievable. Staff very friendly, spa so relaxing, all included in our night away. We will definitely return for another wonderful visit.

Afternoon tea was lovely, freshly made, plenty for two. Spa was beautiful. Really lovely pool, great jacuzzi, sauna, steam room, very clean. Had a wonderful facial and shoulder massage with Felicity. Staff were all lovely & helpful. Wasn't happy at first because we'd booked an executive room, which was right over the wedding disco which was loud & until 11pm, so I emailed the desk to complain. The next morning we were apologise & was given a complimentary drink . Which we were happy with. We would definitely go back again.

Set in 4 acres of beautifully landscaped gardens, this Victorian country house spa hotel and restaurant offers award-winning cuisine and a brand-new spa, opened in 2008.

Privately owned and run, Hempstead House Hotel & Restaurant is a traditional English country house hotel, surrounded by the glorious Kent countryside.

The luxurious rooms with attached bathroom are all individually designed, with modern facilities, including high-speed WiFi internet access.

The hotel features spacious, elegant reception rooms and 3 bars. The delightful classical restaurant, Lakes, offers award-winning food and professional but friendly service.

The new AquaManda Spa and fitness center has superb relaxation and leisure facilities, including a sauna, a steam room and a 50 feet swimming pool with hydrotherapy pool. The fitness studio offers a full range of classes and a fully equipped, state-of-the-art gym. The therapy suite offers 5 spacious treatment rooms and a relaxation lounge.

The extensive gardens and terraces make an ideal setting for al fresco aperitifs and dining on summer evenings. In the winter months, guests can enjoy the warmth and comfort of the roaring log fires.

Located on the main A2 road, near the cathedral towns of Canterbury and Rochester and historic Leeds Castle, Hempstead House is also very close to the ports of Dover and Folkestone. The Eurostar terminal is also about 30 minutes’ drive away and London can be reached within an hour by rail.

  • Is the use of the gym and pool included in the room price or do you charge extra for the use of those facilities?

    Good Evening, thank you for your message. All guests who stay have access into the spa facilities i.e. the gym, sauna, pool etc. Access would be from 3pm on the day of arrival and up to 5pm on the day of departure. I hope this helps.
