The breakfast food was pretty good, and the evening meal was excellent, and the restaurant staff were amazing. They were really attentive and although they were efficient and busy, they still found time to chat to the customers and create a great atmosphere. The evening meal had a relatively small menu, but the food was very tasty indeed, and good quantities, too. The hotel has some lovely simple pleasures - there's a hot tap and a cold tap on the bath, and a shower with controls that say hot, cold, on off - none of those dratted contraptions which are like an intelligence test before you can have a shower! There was fresh fruit and bottled water in the room, which was lovely. All the staff we encountered were fantastic from the reception to the restaurant. The whole hotel was immaculately clean.

  • Can you tell me the difference between the standard and executive room? The size of the beds and rooms size state they are the same?

    Hi, currently we are only offering a room only rate. There is the option to add a breakfast pack on arrival, which contains; Porridge pot, yogurt, cereal bar, fruit, croissant (with butter and jam) and orange juice, and costs £8. Kind Regards.

  • Hi trying to book a room for 2 people for July but won’t allow me to book for 2 people - can I book it for 1 person then amend to 2 after 17/05 ?

    Hello, There is currently a glitch in the system that is stopping rooms for 2 people to be booked. But either call us directly to make this booking or book the room and put a note on the booking it is for 2 people and we can amend it. Kellie

    Yes we have 26 bedrooms on the ground floor, these are a mixture of Doubles, Twins and Family rooms.

    26 of our bedrooms are based on the ground floor, all of which have grab rails in the bathrooms. Unfortunately we do not have a lift in our hotel. If a ground floor room is required, please contact the Hotel directly and we shall arrange this for your stay.

  • why are you indicating that the room is only for one person when it has twin beds or a double bed in it? We are looking for a twin room for 2 persons.

    Unfortunately due to the ongoing COVID-19 Pandemic we are unable to allow any leisure guests into the hotel until after May 18th 2021 . Meaning we can only allow Key workers in single occupancy rooms until that time.
