Lovely location near to wedding venue. Nice village. Staff friendly and helpful. Evening meal very good quality Fresh food (would go just for the food). Would highly recommend.

The food was wonderful (and the breakfast service). The range of ales was good, as was the menu. The room was nice, the bathroom fine (scoring 10 on my grout scale). And the pub is nicely located at the top of the delightful main street in historic Waddington.

The location was excellent for the purpose of my stay as went to a wedding nearby. The breakfast was very tasty and ingredients used was of good quality. Room and bathroom very comfortable, but would have preferred softer pillows. If I stayed a couple of nights I would want a wardrobe which my room lacked.

Arrived early for a wedding and the room was ready so big bonus. Rooms are smallish but beautiful. Tea/coffee, lovely white towels and nice toiletries all provided. Staff were very nice and breakfast was very tasty, good choice to choose from. Would recommend .

The decor of the higher buck inn is amazing! Unfortunately we didn’t get to spend a lot of time in there due to staying here for a wedding but it was stunning. Breakfast was also delicious

The location was perfect, right in the centre of the village. On a sunny day you can sit at the front of the pub and watch the world go by. The bedroom was modern, clean and comfortable and the en-suite had a lovely hot shower. Breakfast was great, with lots of variety and home made products. There was plenty of choice for dinner and it was lovely to have local produce on offer. All food freshly prepared.
