Primarily a working arable farm of 300 acres, the award-winning B and B Highfield Farm, near Sandy offers accommodations with a 5-star rating from Visit England. Just off the A1, this Bedfordshire farm provides free parking and free WiFi. Each guest room has an private bathroom with shower or bath, hairdryer and complimentary White Company toiletries, and beds are dressed with luxury duvets and linens. All rooms feature a flat-screen TV and tea and coffee facilities with hot chocolate, herbal teas and homemade biscuits. A full breakfast is served each morning, with homemade marmalade, locally produced honey and fresh bread from the local baker. Breakfast is served in the large dining room which overlooks the fields. Highfield Farm is within a 10-minute drive of Sandy, Biggleswade and St Neots, with Bedford around 15 minutes away. The farm lies around 15 miles north of Letchworth Garden City, and just 30 minutes’ drive from the center of Cambridge.

Take the A1 road towards London, notice A1/A421 roundabout; stay on A1, the entrance to Highfield Farm is exactly 2.5 miles on the left, directly from the A1. Drive slowly and watch for the yellow/black sign.
Directions - North Bound:
Take the A1 Road towards ‘The North’, notice at Sandy roundabout the A603 (to left) towards Bedford but stay on A1, after about 1.5 miles, having passed a filling station, leave A1 to the left for Blunham, then immediately turn right to access a new bridge over A1. Do a u-turn over A1 and rejoin the A1 towards London and Sandy, Highfield Farm is 300 yards on the left, directly from A1. Drive slowly and watch for the yellow/black sign.
