Historic and unique second floor apartment with stunning views, built into the 16th century Stirling city walls. The apartment is situated in a prime city centre location, a short walk from Stirling Castle, rail and bus stations and many shops, restaurants and bars . The apartment is located at the start of 18th century Back Walk, renowned as one of the finest urban walkways in Europe and culminating with the beautiful Stirling Castle esplande. Experience the history of Stirling first hand! The space The spacious apartment is accessed through a secure shared entrance door and passageway leading to a secret garden. You will be able to make use of the bright, fully equiped open plan dinning area and kitchen - with dinning table and chairs, oven, induction hob, toaster and kettle. There is also a fridge and seperate freezer, and there is a washing machine, drying rack, iron and ironing board. In the comfortable lounge with stunning views across the city, there is a TV with freeview, two soft sofas, chair, reading lamps and a large coffee table. The large double bedroom , also boasting beautiful views, contains a double bed with new, high quality mattress. There
Stirling's many historical sights, walking and cycling routes and points of interest are withen close travelling distance of the apartment. If you are visiting Stirling to see the beautiful castle then the apartment is only a 10 minute walk away. Both the train and the bus station can also be reached by walking 5 minutes down the road, connecting you to nearby Edinburgh (40 mins) and Glasgow (25 mins). The Wallace Monument and Bannockburn Heritage Centre can both be reached in a 15 minute drive. Beautiful King's Park is a ten minute walk away, and the local high street and Albert Hall arts venue are just round the corner. Getting around There is free overnight parking located on the street outside the apartment and free on street parking can be found a ten minute walk away at Kings Park. Most street parking in Stirling is charged between 8:45pm and 5:30pm Monday to Saturday. The street parking outside the apartment has a maximun stay of 4 hours within this time.
