Village hotels are all very consistent so you know what type of room you are getting, the facilities and the breakfast. Beds are comfortable, room facilities modern and the breakfast options are numerous.

Room was lovely and looked out on the grounds and cherry trees which were in blossom. Room and facilities were as expected for the price and very clean. We added breakfast on arrival and it was very good and worth the money.

Sollihull has a lot to offer in things to do. The local National Institute (Baddesley Clinton) has 2 places to visit in a short driving distance with plenty of walking around the properties. There are restaurants within walking and short driving distances as well as grocery stores.

Didn't really see the place.
Didn't really see the place. We were there for an exhibition nearby. There are planty of good restuarants nearby. Just as well because the Regency Hotel restuarant was expensive and not very good.

Solihull is one of the better areas of the West Midlands and offers a pleasant stay and local amenities. Parking in central Birmingham is not easy but a local bus (Route 6) stops right outside the hotel and runs 8 times an hour weekdays, 6 on Saturday's and 4 on Sunday's. In the other direction this runs through to Solihull.
This city of Birmingham has lots to see and plenty of shops including the Bull Ring for those looking for a bit of retail therapy.

The hotel is in Knowle, on the outskirts of Solihull. Lots of great restaurants within a few minutes walk. Fantastic Artisan

Charged more money than when we booked through booking.com paid for 3 rooms and all on different floors. Said we had to pay extra for breakfast and charged us £155 a family room which wasn’t a family room no child bed was made up. Room full of marks on walls and ceiling. Ask to speak to manager and no manager was working on Saturday ! Really disappointed with village hotels we expected it to be as good as the Elstree one couldn’t be so different.

Solihull is a nice place but I would advise anyone going with a party of 3, booking for 3 ADULTS and expecting 2 bedrooms should ring up and check to make sure it's for 3 adults and 2 bedrooms.
Station approach is immaculately clean, warm and very homely. The beds were very comfortable. The host Theresa was very welcoming and attentive, and was keen to give us information and advice on where to eat, etc. The location is excellent for walking in to Solihull centre, accessing the NEC by car, and Birmingham centre by train. We were able to help ourselves to tea and coffee at any time of the day or evening, and breakfast (cereals, toast, yoghurts, juice) was perfectly fine for our needs.
Their staff were very accommodating, with exemplary customer service. The Limes Country Lodge Hotel building and grounds are picturesque, and what you get as as a whole makes it value for money.
Rooms are pristine and well laid out, with a decent selection of hot drink sachets.
The homeliness of the hotel with a very nice old school feel. The staff were friendly and professional and the hotel was good value for money.
It was a very welcome break from Premier Inns which I tend to stay at when on business around the UK.
Room are fair size but not clean as expected. Location is good. restaurants and supermarkets are on walking distance. Free parking available which is good. Other hotels near by are cheaper and very clean e.g Village hotel.
We had a short break taking in the Sea life centre, Warwick Castle and Dudley Zoo, this was perfectly located without having to stay in Birmingham.
Lovely grounds to the hotel, close to the motorway and parking is free.
Staff and facilities were fantastic so was our room. Allowed us to check-in earlier so we could change and freshen up after our long journey. Would recommend and definitely use this hotel on our next visit to Solihull.
Really lovely little flat, very clean and well presented with everything we would need (including washing machine and kitchen utensils) located near enough to walk into Solihull or drive to Birmingham International.
Beautiful hotel in a great location for exploring this part of Warwickshire and travel to Birmingham. Staff were exceptional and made you feel very welcome. Highly recommend.
