The property was light and bright and in the evening the heating was always available, it felt very warm and cosy as the weather had still felt cool outside. Lovely comfortable beds and very bright livingroom that was so relaxed.

The hotel is small and friendly. The room and bathroom are not huge but more than acceptable.
We ate in the hotel both nights once in the Stables and the other in the bar and the food was very good, The breakfast was amazing

Have visited North Berwick often but never stayed over as lived not far away in the past. Tantallon and Dirleton Castles are very different with the former having a view of Bass Rock. Very dog friendly. Lots of places to have food and refreshments. The Rocketeer for lobster is a must.

Its a beautiful characterful town and a great place to stay if you are heading up towards Edinburgh. The beaches are beautiful and the town has a great selection of cafes and little shops. The Scottish SeaBird Centre is really good and well worth a visit. A walk to the nearby Tentallon Castle is recommended.

A great place to enjoy golf along the most amazing coastline for golfers.
Two wonderful courses in the town and many more exceptional courses within a few miles.
Several decent pubs and small restaurants. We were told to avoid the Chinese but the fish and chips were great.
The train from Edinburgh only takes 20 minutes and costs pennies!!
The apartment was gorgeous - really clean, cosy and just a few steps away from the one of North Berwick's beautiful beaches. Everything we needed was there and was all new and fresh. The bed was extremely comfortable and the wine and biscuits on arrival were a really nice touch. We were able to arrange a slightly earlier chek-in which was excellent and communication with the host was easy and friendly.
Lovely and warm on a cold long weekend. Very welcoming as host had left heating and lights on for our rather late arrival. At this time of year (early March) was able to park just outside the property. The property is a very short distance from the main shopping/eating area of North Berwick. Situation ideal for early morning walks and browsing shops in the town.
Great house in a small city with a great location - walking distance to the beach or golf course, restaurants and the train station to head into the city. The house was as shown in the pictures and was great for our group (2 couples). We were met by the host’s family to give us information about the house/area.
The hotels position is just spectacular, the views are unspoilt and its just a lovely place to be. The reception area and bar are a lovely place sit and have a drink and watch sunset and the leisure facilities are great. The best part was the bed, it was amazingly comfortable and the room we had was huge!
A return visit here and it did not disappoint. A lovely property so well equipped, very clean and it’s locality to both the town centre and the beach is great. The owner is very responsive and helpful. The welcome pack is a helpful addition. We love this area and enjoyed staying again in this house.
The location, by a golf course with a public path to the beach! The space of the rooms. Good size kitchen and
eating area. Good number of washrooms for a group of ten people. Bedrooms were a good size. Short walk to shops in North Berwick and the beach.
There are lots of golf courses in this area.
Really lovely spacious flat right in the centre of north Berwick. Well equipped, light, good shower, plenty space. Great communication from the management team. Managed to provide an early check in. Great proximity to shops, beach, restaurants and bars. Would be 10/10 if somewhere a bit quieter
Location was brilliant. Seacliff Beach only 10 minute walk away. Cottage was very spacious, bedrooms all a good size. Nice to have 2 sitting areas. Kitchen great for dining in. All in all a great place for a relaxing family holiday with North Berwick only a short drive away.
Excellent location in the centre of North Berwick with safe parking adjacent to the property. 10 mins walk to the rail station with hourly trains taking just 30 minutes to get to Edinburgh. Great eateries and bars within walking distance along with local supermarket.
Excellent location, close to beach, town centre amenities and short walk to train station. Kitchen well equipped and apartment was clean, comfortable, spacious and had lovely views. Quiet area. Parking spot was great to have too.
Staff were very good and friendly.
The hotel had a great bar and the restaurant was excellent.
Good parking.
The hotel was well positioned for local golf courses and exploring the North Berwick area.
I have been to North Berwick many times but have never stayed at the Nether Abbey. It opened my eyes to somewhere else to stay. Excellent friendly staff. We enjoyed it all round. Easy walk into town.
The hosts went above and beyond in helping me get around the area. They very kindly accommodated my desire to check in early. And they served a sumptuous and delicious breakfast.
The location of the cottage is stunning, right on the beach. The village of North Berwick appears laid back and expensive. The people are freindly. The views are exceptional.
I liked the staff who were friendly and helpful. I have stayed there before and this time the hotel had been refurbished. The spa and swimming pool were excellent.
