What a fabulous find! Great accommodation; cosy and comfortable rooms with a smart ensuite. Lovely to be greeted with a cup of tea on arrival after our journey, Caroline and George are the perfect hosts! Breakfast was delicious. Great walking tracks around the estate to explore, and lots of coastal towns to visit only a short drive away. This was just a short break for us but we will definitely return!

Michael United Kingdom

Peaceful and cosy stay. The beds and the room was relaxing and beautifully decorated. George and Caroline were very helpful, informative and lovely. Great location as there are so many places to visit in the area within 20/30mins. Would definitely come back to visit again in the near future

Latoyah Cambodia

Everything about it. The location, friendliness throughout visit, comfortable room plenty of space, amazing breakfast, beautiful countryside, access to Devon Information given about where to visit with welcome cuppa, recommendations on where to visit and eat

Sonja United Kingdom

Breakfast was freshly cooked and the eggs were home produced. There was plenty of choice and fresh tea and coffee on tap. Location was very pretty and secluded. The hosts were both friendly and helpful.

Gillian United Kingdom

Nice and friendly guest house with lovely surrounderings

Lorraine United Kingdom

Crisp clean bed linen, crisp clean towels and bathrobes, super comfortable bed and plenty of hot water! Beautifully remote and peaceful. The breakfast - whilst not a full English - was absolutely spot on for my personal taste. Acres of tracks and fields to wander around. Warm hospitality from George and Caroline who almost make you feel you're staying with old friends. Florence and Margot the farm Jack Russells - sooo sweet and love a fuss. If "all mod cons" is what you're searching for, this one won't be for you!

Natalie United Kingdom

This is a traditional, rustic and rural working farm with beautiful surroundings. We received a warm welcome from George who showed us to our rooms which were extremely comfortable and clean. The full breakfast served by George was superb and served in a lovely traditional dining room around a large round table in the main house. We stayed in the Vicenza twin bedded suite in the barn conversion. Would definitely recommend to people and intend to book again to visit our friends in Barnstaple next year. Excellent choice for families with young children or horse riders.

Sharon United Kingdom

Everything was perfect and our dog loved it as well!

Phil United Kingdom

The comfort of the accommodation, the company, the great weather and the food

Ray United Kingdom

Lady Caroline and her husband were incredibly helpful - we had been cycling all day and my bike had broken, our hosts went out their way to help me get my bike fixed and dry our clothes. Cosy and clean room - would highly recommend!

Caroline & George Wrey

Come and stay in our beautiful, eighteenth century farmhouse, bed and breakfast (B&B), where you will be treated to luxurious bedrooms and a delicious breakfast that is home grown or locally sourced. Dogs and Horses welcome. Evening fine dining is also now available.

Sir Bourchier and Lady Caroline Wrey’s home was built in 1740 by the Wrey family who lived on a large estate locally; the family arrived in Tawstock, from St Ives in Cornwall in 1640 when the Wreys married Lady Anne Bourchier from a very old Norman family who came over in 1066. Sir Bourchier is the 15th baronet and has 2 sons and a daughter. George runs a property company and a private shoot, while Caroline is an interior designer and presently teaches dyslexic children when not running the farm and runs the livery yard.

Enjoy the luxury of being able to ride, cycle or amble freely around 400 beautiful acres, with hardly a gate to open. Hollamoor Farm is set in undulating Devon countryside, encapulating open fields, prolific hedgerows, ancient farm tracks, woodlands, lakes and hills.
