“Erik was a gracious host and a great breakfast cook! He gave us plenty of hints on where to go for walks, where to shop, and what to see. The house itself is immaculate. Bed was delightfully comfy and the bathroom was roomy and modern. The garden is huge and lovely, with a little fish pond, chickens and bee hives down the end of it. My wife enjoyed an apple straight from the tree in the garden. She said it was delicious and reminded her of being a kid again 😃 thanks so much to Erik and his wife who were wonderful hosts. Sorry we checked out a bit late!”

“The property has a beautiful garden and deck and plenty of space in the well-decorated bedroom. The owners were very helpful and cooked a variety of delicious breakfasts! The use of space including a lounge area and kitchen and dining area were very generous! Really a wonderfully, restful place!”

Small kitchen/utility room for guest use including washing machine, dryer, microwave, fridge, a supply of fresh milk, chilled water. Beautiful large garden and patio. Excellent friendly service. We were emailed lots of helpful information prior to our stay. Have already recommended to others and will be booking again for a relaxing break!”

“Homelands Apartment is based in a beautiful countryside setting. We loved waking up to the sound of birds singing and the occasional baas of sheep on the pasture opposite the property. The facilities were top notch and throughout our stay we felt that the host put in significant effort to make the property a homely and welcoming but also well-equipped place for travellers. The honey made at the property was delicious.”

We were lucky to try their home baked bread and their own honey, it was just yummi. The whole atmosphere was very relaxing and enjoyable.”
