From being greeted on arrival until leaving the staff were so welcoming. They were available to answer any queries and all the staff carried out their duties from the cleaners, kitchen staff and reception with a smile on their face. The hotel is very clean and was warm on a cold and wet day. We both slept well.
At breakfast the young lad who took our order couldn't do enough for us.
We have stayed here before and has been perfect in every way.
I do not even check out any other hotels in the area because there is no better.

Wild moorland a short bus trip away. Town full of interesting Victorian architecture. Magnificent mosque just near property. Warm and welcoming parish church. Went to inspiring Mass in 1830's St Patrick's.Canals and waterways at nearby Mirfield.Good base for visiting much of Yorkshire by train. Happy faces - I presume not just because of the fine weather.

Amazing place to stay beautiful location and very clean and immaculate better than a 5* hotel standards were high. Only only flaw and I think this is a problem
With booking.com that they need to be very clear on there page about deposit required by the host once booked otherwise you lose your money . This is in the fine print which like me many people do no read . But the stay was superb and will be booking again .

The house is perfect.
The house is perfect. Be ready for stairs though as it has 3 levels. Had everything you needed (except a potato masher lol). Cleanliness 100%. Parking was plenty adequate. Location is perfect, not too much of a walk to town.
TV in each bedroom is a bonus.
I loved staying there, we were on a trip, we had stay overs in Scotland, London, Liverpool and Huddersfield. Huddersfield was by far the best of the accommodation. I could easily live there.
Would 100% recommend this to other travelers.

The staff at Cedar Court Huddersfield are extremely professional and helpful in all departments.
Good breakfast choice with cooked options if you ask.
Evening food is delicious and nicely presented
Good choice of gluten free options.
Nightmare getting AWAY from a John Smiths Stadium concert!
Gridlocked around the stadium for 2-3 hours.
Many taxi firms refuse to do pick ups at this time.
Seek refuge in The Yorkshire Rose pub next to the Stadium.
Hope Hotel could put on a return transfer somehow!
First concert right next to a hillside covered in trees!
Beautiful Yorkshire countryside with lots to see and do so close by.

It's easy to get around on foot.
It's easy to get around on foot. There are a lot of interesting looking places to eat. The Turkish cafe did a great breakfast platter that was absolutely the highlight of my stay.
A lot of the town feels run down and at night a little unsafe. There are some okay nightlife spots, but on Friday night they were nearly empty, as were most of the eateries I passed.
The room was cosy with really comfortable beds, an armchair, decent shower and a beautiful view. The pub itself has been recently refurbished, still keeping its local village pub charm. Breakfast was included: anything from full English to a bacon sandwich and was really tasty. Richard is a friendly and accommodating host and I would recommend to anyone to stay here in this beautiful village of Thurstonland at the top of the hill
The hotel was in a great location for where I needed to get to. The inside of the hotel was bizarrely dim, light wise, but my room was perfectly lit, clean and very comfortable. The staff seemed nice from the little interaction I had with them. The free Wi-Fi worked well. No complaints really. I’d be happy to stay here again.
We loved the clean fresh feel, the very comfy bed and the proximity to Huddersfield John Smith Stadium. It is walking distance to the town centre and plenty of places to get a coffee or a pizza. Plenty of on street parking nearby.
Communication with the owner was very good.
We would 100% stay here again.
This room is well worth the money you pay, compared to any major brand hotels within 20 mile radius it really does out shine the rest. The facilities are great, the host and the team are wonderful and easy to deal with, no need for keys as the doors are coded which I’ve never seen before.
This is a lovely apartment to stay in if you are visiting between Halifax and Huddersfield and the views from the room are stunning. Absolutely perfect lovely little coffee shop on site as well.
Parking could be a bit of an issue as it’s very tight but we were lucky and got a spot
The hotel was a short taxi ride from the train station. With in walking distance back into town. The room was spacious with a table and chairs to have your complimentary hot drinks tea/coffee.
Easy check in via telephone instructions.
Will use again when we next visit Huddersfield.
Beautiful place to stay, food is quality and rooms and clean and comfortable, hete is outdoor seating opposite the hotel by the river and if ypur loje walking there is a map for you to.follow in the surrounding area of all times and levels .
Clean room with comfortable beds. Tea and coffee making facilities and fridge. Hairdryer in room and good storage cupboards available. Central location to Huddersfield, within walking distance of city centre or plentiful supply of taxis.
For the price it was pretty good. Non manned checkout wasn't too bad I was delighted to find my room was ensuite which was unexpected. It was also warm despite freezing outside. Ideal place to stay after a Christmas party.
I was very surprised by the quality of this hotel. I am not sure how long it is since it was refurbished, but it appeared to be very recent. We are used to staying in 5 star Dubai hotels, and this was on that level.
The staff was very helpful, responded quickly and helped me get the most out of my trip. The accommodations were as advertised and the location made it easy to get around Huddersfield and to events at the University.
Lovely, clean hotel. Staff friendly. Good location only 5 minutes walk to Station and Huddersfield Town. Breakfast excellent, really good value for money. On site free parking. Would definitely stay again.
the apartment was very clean and comfortable. the team were responsive to our requests. the location is also excellent and it is a short walk to the supermarket, university and town centre.
Friendly reception staff. A small hotel, and so no delays when booking in. Easy parking. Close and easily accessible to M62. The room was clean and easy to heat. Everything worked OK.
A nice hotel out of the centre of Huddersfield which met our requirements perfectly. Great staff and an excellent restaurant (Da Sandro) on site. Would highly recommend it.
