The site itself is peaceful, clean and well-appointed. We would love to try some of the other accommodation on site too! Everything we might need to know about was outlined in information packs and in correspondence before arrival. Perfectly placed for the event we were attending and for a sneaky trip to the coast.

Hunston Mill was in a very good spot, very close to Chichester. The kitchen had everything we needed and it was very nice to have teabags, milk and biscuits on arrival. . The bed was comfy and there was a lovely view from the window. Our little garden and the shared garden were very secure for our dog and there was plenty of seating. The staff were welcoming and friendly. Although the properties are just off the busy road, we couldn't hear any traffic.

Hunston Mill Self Catering Request Type : Property Description Hunston Mill Hunston Mill House built in 1711, was the home of Mr & Mrs Hudson the Local Miller, that worked the Flour Mill which was converted in the sixty's to Mill Top & Mill Stone. Mill Top is accessed via an external staircase that is not suitable for children or less agile person. Were Mill Stone has an easy level access. The sails were removed in 1901 from the Mill as a steam engine was added to grind the flour. Courtyard located at the back of the main house with its court yard garden and first floor bedroom is suitable for people staying with pets. The lounge/kitchen has old traditional oak beams that may be a problem for extra tall guests, but our Coach & Stable offers two bedrooms and downstairs bathroom, kitchen & lounge with full height ceilings plus their own private enclosed gardens with BBQ's area's. In the grounds we have a dog excising area, children's play area and fabulous gardens.
We look forward to meeting you, Jackie is the on site manageress and will be happy to help you with any questions you may have, from fresh laundry, top up of tea and coffee if needed and good places to walk , which are many. When you arrive in the car park there is a map to help you find your way.
There are many things to do in the area West Witterings beach is the finest on the south coast Golf course just behind us with a very good crazy golf for the children Many dog walks although you do need to take the car as the road can be busy A walk alone the canal to Chichester Centre, in the summer the old barge runs or the other way to Chichester Marine with Cycle Paths Earnley Butterfly Farm We are very close to Goodwood and Chichester itself Chichester Theatre With many different Plays. Pallent House Gallery. The Weal and down Centre Just to name a few
