The property is lovely - beautifully refurbished in oak with modern furniture and bathroom. Huge windows to enjoy the view across the woods and fields from the shared communal room and our bathroom. The shared communal room is great if you want to prep a light meal or hang out on the sofas. The swimming pool is fantastic - a great place to hang out on a summer day. The owner is lovely, easy going and attentive and made our stay enjoyable and relaxed. We will definitely be back.

We stayed in the room with the infamous bath tub, the view from the bathroom is beautiful and the facilities are to such a high standard. The breakfast was lovely and Victoria the host is the most kind person. There is plenty of space in the room and the location of the B&B is amazing, so peaceful. Underfloor heating is a nice as well. I would really recommend staying here, I could not of asked for a nicer stay away from the city, so peaceful.

We went to Hurst Farm for a much needed family mini-break and we’re so pleased that we did! Victoria has created a lovely, welcoming B&B in the beautifully renovated Kent farm. The kids had a wonderful time in the pool, the breakfast was delicious and the location was ideal. Views of rolling hills but also close to great activities such as Hever Castle and some great places to eat for dinner. Would highly recommend.

  • Hiya Is the pool open in February?

    The pool is solar-heated and is only open 'in season' - usually June until early September - depending on the weather.

  • Are dogs allowed. One in and one im car.

    I'm afraid that dogs are not permitted inside. You are most welcome to bring a dog if he/she is happy to stay in your car. He/she is welcome to walk and run in the grounds.

  • Is the pool open post - Covid? Any restrictions? Private use or shared? Timed bookings or flexible? Thanks.

    Pool is open exclusively to guests, so absolute maximum is 10. Changing room closed in alinement with current advice. Will remain open while still practical (solar heated, so becoming cooler as summer ends).

    We have no rooms on the ground floor. Rooms 1 and 4 (the quadruple room) are on the first floor, rooms 2 and 3 on the second. There are sturdy handrails on all staircases.

    All rooms are ensuite: Room 1 has a bathtub and separate shower cubicle; Room 2 has a bathtub with hand shower; Room 3 has a wetroom; Room 4 has bathtub with shower over.

  • Do you have any ground floor rooms please?

    We have no ground floor rooms. Rooms 1 & 4 are on the first floor, up a wide stair with sturdy handrails. Rooms 2 & 3 are on the second floor and up a slightly narrower stair.

  • Is the pool heated in February?

    I am sorry but it is not. It is a big pool, and it is not financially viable at that time of year. We try to be as environmental friendly as we can, and in the summer the pool is heated with solar energy. It is generally switched on in June, running until early September.

Our luxurious guest accommodation is on the first and second floors of a spectacular new addition to a Medieval Kentish Hall House, with beautiful views of the surrounding countryside. There are four en-suite bedrooms and a guest reception room with a small, but well-equipped kitchen where you can make tea, coffee and snacks. There is ample free parking. We have a newly built swimming pool and a grass tennis court in season. Children are very welcome, but we cannot accommodate pets. Smoking is not permitted. There is high-speed WiFi throughout the property fed from a 1Gbit optical fibre link. All rooms have hair dryers and are stocked with luxury toiletries. They also have a torch to light your way back from the pub in the evening. The bedlinens are all of high thread count Egyptian cotton.

Victoria runs the B&B, helped during the university holidays by her two children. Granny lives in the adjoining oasthouse, and we have two boisterous labradors (George and Alfie) and a rather antisocial cat (Tintin).
