United KingdomThis hotel is a great 'home base' in Edinburgh. It's in a great area with excellent restaurants nearby and only a short walk from most of the major attractions. The room itself was smaller than the photos- we'd booked the top floor suite with balcony, and it was small but nice. The balcony itself didn't have a view quite like the photos, but it was still nice to have. I will say that the balcony has a fully see-through divider between the other rooms' balconies, so it wasn't super private. The shower was really lovely, as were the products provided. The staff were great as well, very friendly upon our arrival and at breakfast. We were also impressed with the COVID measures, we felt safe during our stay

We requested a nice, quiet room when we booked and when we arrived at the hotel, we saw that they gave us a room with a beautiful view of the square and they left a card on the bed congratulating us on our anniversary. It was a thoughtful and a very nice touch, and it made us very happy :) The staff was brilliant, very helpful and very friendly. The breakfast was great, location is excellent. Bed was really comfortable, room was very clean. All in all, we were very happy that we stayed there, and we highly recommend the hotel to everyone!

Around 10 minutes’ walk from Edinburgh Train Station, this ibis hotel has a 24-hour reception, a bar and restaurant and offers free WiFi.
Each air-conditioned room features the ‘Sweet Bed’ by ibis Styles and has a flat-screen TV and tea and coffee facilities. Each has an en suite shower room with hairdryer.
