The Innkeepers Lodge is a great stay! The room was very spacious and quiet. Check in was easy. The property is lovely and the staff are incredibly friendly. We also had 2 meals at the restaurant on the property? Both were FANTASTIC! The area is our favorite of the trip. We drive through Bakewell on the way and stopped for a stroll. The landscapes up the mountain to the Inn were stunning. And after dinner, we took a trip up to Stanage Edge for a bit of a sunset hike. It was very easy to get around. And the few locals we ran into were very friendly as well. Enjoyed a few good chats. We will definitely be back for a much longer stay!

The breakfast offered with the price is a grab and go bag with a muffin, fruit, fruit juice and a cereal bar which was fine if you wanted something light. We took this for our lunch instead, and paid for the home cooked breakfast which was charged additionally. The cooked breakfast had locally sourced bacon and eggs and was very nice. The food at the Inn was very nice as was the beer. The Inn itself has a homely feel and attracted mostly walkers and cyclists. The staff were really good, they were a young vibrant team, and you can see that they enjoyed their work. Genuinely nice people and the Manageress was very polite and attentive and ran her team with the same courteous manner she displayed to us. The location is excellent and in walking distance to a few local attractions mainly National Trust.

The room was of a reasonable size and the bed was very comfortable (hard mattress). If you forgot a toothbrush/toothpaste etc. the pub can supply these. Nice location and dinner was quite tasty. Friendly staff.

Located within the Peak District National Park, Innkeeper's Lodge Hathersage is an 18th-century country lodge just 20 minutes’ drive from Sheffield city center. Set in the area of Longshaw which features scenic views, ancient oak woods and archaeological treasures.

A wide range of regularly changing cask-ales and seasonal-inspired food is served in the on-site pub and restaurant.

A flat-screen TV, private bathroom and tea/coffee making facilities are featured in all rooms at Innkeeper's Lodge Hathersage.

Walking and climbing activities can be enjoyed within the Peak District, and the historical village of Eyam is only a 10-minute drive away. The artificial slopes of Sheffield Ski Village are 9.2 miles away, and Chatsworth House is 20 minutes by car.
