“On the driveway up to the hotel we encountered two deer, who stood calmly as we slowly passed by. It seemed like a good omen. From the outside, it has to be said , Inver Lodge is not the most attractive building, but once inside there is an entirely different feel. It is very inviting with comfortable sofas and an open fire. The view from our room and the restaurant across the Loch was superb. Our room was large, well appointed and with an extremely comfortable bed. The bathroom was spotless and the shower powerful with plenty of hot water. Both our evening meal and breakfast were delicious. All the staff we met were lovely but we would particularly mention the delightful lady in reception - a real asset to the hotel.”
