Loved everything about this stay!! Linette and Dermot were delightful hosts who took the time to get to know us and fill us up with everything we needed to know to enjoy Inverness from a local perspective. This property sits adjacent to the banks of the Caledonian Canal which is a quiet and family friendly base to walk from and take in the beauty of Inverness. The local residents that we encountered on the banks of the canal, usually out for a walk with their dogs, were very friendly and welcoming as we chatted about their community and our experiences during our stay. We're from Texas, and at the end of June the temps top 100 degrees. Coming to Inverness to beat the heat, view the scenic beauty, and experience Scotland's culture for an entire week was just what we needed! The Inverness House was the PERFECT place for us to stay. Absolutely recommend this property and its hosts... you'll be glad you stayed here. We were!! :-)
