Beautiful Island, such a perfect size for wondering around with beautiful views in every direction. I go back again and again! Love the Boathouse too - fantastic wedding anniversary meal and some most welcome post lockdown pints is such a perfect location.!

Stunning beaches, great food at the Boathouse (didn't try anywhere else due to Covid-19). Lovely walks, particularly Achamore Gardens and the Twin Beaches, turquoise waters great for watersports and friendly islanders.

You can do without a car, bicycles are popular.

You can do without a car, bicycles are popular. If you take the car it wont be used much. Restaurant and Hotel both serve good food. The shop is well stocked for essentials. Make sure to take Avon skin so soft or SMIDGE repellent or the Scottish Midges will make your stay miserable. Also keep car and house windows shot if the air is calm as they will come in the house. A light breeze can defeat them.

Great little island especially for walkers and those looking to get away from it all . Some lovely hidden beaches and especially in the summer crystal clear waters for swimming - if you are lucky with an inquisitive seal .
