The staff very friendly and helpful. Felt like a proper country pub. The rooms were very well decorated and had a good feel to them and the bathroom was a good size with a good shower. The evening meal was reasonably priced and pretty good and the breakfast was substantial.

I loved everything! The hosts were very warm and welcoming. They have loads of knowledge about the area and, make a great breakfast with a lot of options! Warm and comfortable surroundings although the stone floors and wooden furniture may not be to everyone's delight. Large car park at the rear. We spent 3 nights here and it was fantastic! Our room was modern, cosy and relaxing. We Loved the decor throughout the whole property as every little detail was thought about. The hosts were amazing, attentive and sweet, nothing was too much for them. The daily continental breakfast was perfect, Jackie and Greg were friendly, helpful and lovely to talk to and gave us so much advice on where to explore. They made our stay such a pleasure. The old bell is also in such a good location, we would highly recommend the old bell and will definitely be going back - we couldn’t fault our stay at all.
