A beautifully decorated boutique bed and breakfast. A lot of effort has gone into the renovation and decor of this building and there are several additional little touches such as make-up wipes in the bathroom, and a very eclectic selection of hot drinks in addition to the usual sachets of tea and coffee, plus a carafe of drinking water. We were very grateful to be lent an iPhone charger overnight after we (apparently) left both ours at the previous hotel we stayed in. The staff were very pleasant and courteous.

The staff was lovely, the room and bathroom were very well decorated and clean. The bed was super comfortable, it was a shame I had to wake up early and couldn't stay longer. Broad selection of teas and coffee in the bedroom, extra heater and blanket as well, although neither were needed as the room was warm and cosy.

The location is great, although the only downside is that East Midlands airport is quite near and the planes do go over the village but that doesn't stop me from giving this hotel maximum ratings. The planes don't fly at night so it won't stop you sleeping and anyway, the owner of the hotel kindly supplies ear plugs in a glass jar by the bed! The breakfast is really good and they have a great choice of cooked breakfasts and also a buffet section with cereals, juice, yoghurt etc. We stayed here as we were in Donington for the World Superbikes. It is a perfect location and only about 10 minutes from the circuit. I highly recommend this hotel.

No42 Kegworth House is a privately owned, family run mid-18th Century Georgian Townhouse, purchased by its new owners in 2016, and a having undertaken an extensive refurbishment programme, including the creation of our new Orangery Restaurant, Guest Bar and Lounge, No42 is a retreat from the outside world. This beautiful, newly accredited 4 Star Gold Award Winning Boutique venue nestles with in the heart of Kegworth market village, running close to the River Trent and River Soar, within easy reach to East Midlands Airport, Nottingham, Derby and Loughborough. Consisting of 11 unique and individually designed en-suite bedrooms, a relaxing Guest Lounge and Bar, a light and spacious Orangery offering a pre booked private dining experience for a minimum of 14 guests and a stunning private Walled Garden to relax in. Offering a unique venue for your next celebration; whether this be a Wedding, Exclusive Party or Special Event. Located only 5 mins from J23A & J24 of M1 Motorway with easy access to Nottingham, Derby, Loughborough & Leicester, and ideally located close to East Midlands Airport and East Midlands parkway Railway Station. With the Skylink Bus stop just 50 yards away, your just an easy hop away from the Airport and then the sky's the limit. Love your Sport... ? Why not have a lazy day and relax at the world famous Trent Bridge Cricket Ground, get some high octane entertainment from Cars, Bikes or even truck racing at Donington Park Race Circuit, or watch a game of Football at Pride Park in Derby, Forest Ground in Nottingham or King Power Stadium in Leicester, or rowing at Holme Pierrepont Watersports Centre... all this within a 30 minute drive.
