“Kensington Hotel is one in a row of adjoining, north-facing hotels with bay windows that overlook a broad, picturesque cove just across the narrow street. A wide shoreline promenade stretches in both directions, providing a smooth walking surface for people of all ages, as well as for strollers and wheelchairs. (Note: This hotel does not permit wheelchairs upstairs because of its narrow hallways.) We paid extra for a sea view and thoroughly enjoyed our little table and chairs by the bay window, just as we enjoyed taking long walks on the promenade. The hotel has a nice car park in back and is located within easy walking distance of a variety of shops and restaurants, as well as a small laundromat and an ATM. Our stay in this room with its wonderful view was one of the highlights of our trip!”
