Lovely location. Beautiful views. I like the garden. Breakfast was nice, room was comfortable, the place was generally quiet and felt homey
United KingdomExcellent breakfast with good choice. Friendly and very helpful host. Very clean and spacious room with table and seats and good shower. Good facilities and furnishings in room. Quiet and peaceful location.
United KingdomVary nice and friendly spot. Great food, and very clean and large room. Small lounge nice for in-house meetings with a few people.
United States of AmericaLoved the hut and how it was transformed in 1940's style.
United KingdomFrench room was beautiful - amazing bath tub! Breakfast was delicious and despite the B&B being on a main road, our stay was peaceful and quiet.
United KingdomLovely comfortable room. Excellent breakfast in our room
United KingdomThis is hospitality at its best with a very pleasant clean room and bathroom. All the facilities worked and breakfast was outstanding. We were very comfortable and left the following morning feeling rested and refreshed
United KingdomVery helpful with allowing us to arrive very late in the evening.
United Kingdomthe room was clean and spacious. self entry after check in. Tea and coffee was provided. iron or hair dryer was not in the room but available on request. plenty of parking space. wifi was available but we used it for general phone use, checking messages, did not watch any films etc so can’t comment on bandwidth. Lack of outside noise was a big bonus, it helped to relax. one of the nights, the other guests were bit noisy when they arrived but luckily once they settled we can no longer hear them in the room above us. there was a great food place 5 mins in car from the property. The Potting shed, it was a good find.
United KingdomIt was an extremely comfortable and clean room. It was at the back of the house so the noise from the busy road outside was minimised.

Set in a former 1950's police house, this 4-star B&B is set in the small village of Leeds, 5 miles from Maidstone. It offers contemporary accommodation and substantial breakfasts, 1 miles to Leeds Castle. Rear-facing rooms at Kent House Bed and Breakfast have countryside views. All include fresh water, tea and coffee making facilities with biscuits, a flat-screen TV and free Wi-Fi. A fridge is also provided. A continental buffet breakfast is included, served with tea, coffee, juice and toast. The George Inn local village pub is just a short walk away, while Maidstone centre is 10 minutes’ drive away. The property has a guest lounge and the area is ideal for walkers. Majestic Leeds Castle has a traditional moat and is surrounded by beautiful parkland. Kent House offers free private parking and is just off junction 8 of the M20 Motorway, ideally located for cross-channel ferry travel.
We look forward to meeting you all
Leeds village in Kent cannot, of course, be compared with Leeds in Yorkshire which is probably the first 'hit' you get when searching for Leeds on the web. We are a small community with fewer than 1000 inhabitants, nestling at the foot of the North Downs in the heart of the Kent countryside five miles south east of Maidstone. The village may have taken its name from the stream known in early times was known as the Hlyde…… the loud or noisy one. We know the original settlement was called Hlydes – 'belonging to the noisy one' and is recorded as Esleades, 1086, Hlydea, Hledes c.1100 and Leeds 1610. LEEDS CASTLE Leeds Castle has been a Norman stronghold; the private property of six of England’s medieval queens; a palace used by Henry VIII and his first wife Catherine of Aragon; a Jacobean country house; a Georgian mansion; an elegant early 20th century retreat for the influential and famous; and in the 21st century, it has become one of the most visited historic buildings in Britain.
