I liked the fact there was plenty of room to park. I liked that it was close to a bus stop for transport into Edinburgh. The room was lovely, particularly the four-poster bed. I thought the complimentary sherry was a nice touch. Finally, the breakfast was delicious.

Great scottish house with fireplace in the common area to rest and read. Staff was extremenly nice and breakfast was good. You can walk to the old town in half an hour, if you dont wanna walk bus station is just in front of the building.

Our 2nd stay at the Kildonan Lodge Hotel, our 1st being over 6 years ago. Even had the same, super room - #8! Still a very friendly & pleasant place to stay. Friendly staff, super location with bus lines right outside the front door to get into town. Can always ask for help or information.

Very cozy rooms and a very nice building. The common living room with chimney and bar are very nice. I also enjoyed the breakfast a lot. But what made the stay exceptional for me, was the staff. very friendly, always available, great service. They even made breakfast available to us at 5am before our flight. Definitely recommend to stay here.
