Lovely, friendly and attentive staff who dealt with everything really well, even when a burst pipe interrupted cooking breakfast. The food was good, room delightful and an excellent location near the cathedral.

United States of AmericaThe management/owner of the property excelled in anticipating and meeting my needs--called and had a taxi waiting well before normal hours and provided an exceptional brown-bag breakfast (complete with bottled orange juice) for me to take. The location is a very short walk to the Salisbury Cathedral and equally convenient to the cute town center. In addition, the hotel restaurant provides a really nice dinner menu and delicious meals.

Bathroom sink and very very comfy bed Breakfast....very good with Butcher quality Sausages and Bacon and Fabulous Sourdough Bread for Toast and lovely Mueseli Mix. Best place to stay in Salisbury and right next to the Cathedral You will not find a better Steak for miles and miles......the couple on the next table to us said it was the best Steak they had EVER had and they were Well travelled Pensioners. Staff very friendly and the owner/ manager is South African and super helpful and friendly Some interesting South African dishes on the menu We will 100% be staying here again 5 Stars!!!!!

Perfectly located at the gates to The Cathedral Close and ten minutes to Stonehenge. The Chapter House is steeped in history and culture. There are 17 comfortable boutique letting rooms, ranging from spacious and luxurious executive rooms to family suites, double rooms and twin rooms. All are unique and quirky, some with original paneling and fireplaces and all with fluffy goose down duvets, Egyptian cotton linen, luxurious designer toiletries and flatscreen TVs. All our rooms are en-suite with walk-in showers, some also have baths, even in the bedroom! Please specify when booking if you have particular preference and we will try our best to accommodate you. All rooms have coffee and tea making facilities, ironing boards, a hairdryers and a safe for your personal goods.
The Chapter House features one of the best steakhouses in the south west. Here you'll find a selection of house dry aged cuts, finger-licking marinated racks of ribs, handmade pure beef burgers, as well as a wide range of poultry, fish and vegetarian dishes. Every Sunday we serve up our famous Sunday roast, definitely worth booking for! And there's a little South African twist here too with Bobotie and Durban style curries on the menu as well as some top-notch wines from Stellenbosch and The Hemel en Aarde Valley. Join us in our traditional bar for a cocktail or pint of ale by the fireside or in our lovely heated outdoor courtyard - plus there's snuggly blankets if you are still cold!
