Very unlucky to be informed that this hotel is closed down upon check in. The frontdesk staff wore a long face everyday. It was when i checked out that I was given an invoice with the card number belonging to another person by the same staff. The tall window in the room (on lower floors) offering a good street view is not convenient to be opened by guests at day time for worries of personal privacy.
The room is spacious and bright installed with a lovely coffee machine for guests to enjoy spring time in the afternoon. The entrance hall and the breakfast room looks very modern with an air of the arts, though the reception space is not well designed for guests: specifically, the small table needs to be upgraded. The auto-voice in the lift has a rare strong asian-like lady's accent, which is very amusing.

our superior double room did not have a refrigerator. The coffee machine and heater did not work but the staff were quick to provide us with a kettle and a portable heater.
Rooms and bathrooms were clean, shower was amazing and spacious, beds were comfortable. Staff and housekeeping were quick to respond to any problems and queries too! Extremely helpful. Wished we had found this hotel earlier so we could stay more nights in it.

-Dusty room, -no mattress protector nor pillow protector, -the mattress was old and uncomfortable -the room was not soundproof and without their knowledge the couple next door were over sharing : conversation, tv program etc

I was given a basement room when i check-in. Afterwards, i was fortunate enough to be able to move to a room upstairs. This is at an extra cost of spending time packing and unpacking. The reason I dared to request for a move is because i cannot figure out why it is so noisy in the evening, and the tap water is so warm. The tap water in the other room was also hot. The frontdesk staff failed to give a reasonable explanation.
The frontdesk staffs, the breakfast space, are nice; in the room, the bathroom is very good.

This is not a hotel at all. It is just bed and breakfast and this part is very poor too. The breakfast had a few hots, one type cheese and a few pastries, additional to a muesli corner; however there were not any healthy choices to eat. The quality of items very low. I have a gluten free and dairy free diet and i couldnt find anything healthy there. There is a small desk as a reception and just rooms upstairs. There was no lobby and any place to spend time except very small breakfast room. I saw a very huge insect in the lobby one morning and hoped they kept in the ground floor. The building outside is very old although inner parts are refurbished and looked new. The room has limited facilities, no shower cap, slippers, any other items other than shampoo. The beds and pillows very uncomfortable and no covers under the sheets. I think there should be some protection cover below the sheets since i already have 2 covers at my home. The walls are very thin and windows are not protected so you hear the noise from the street all night. It wasnt easy to sleep first two days. This is not a 4 star hotel just 2 star bed and breakfast. The only thing good is the location.

The bathroom is a bit small, but I think enough for the basic necessities. The lift was slow to get to the floor, it's better to use the stairs.
I'm very grateful to the hotel. It was a late reservation and just on the day before I asked them to some special treat because it was my boyfriend's birthday. When we got the room there were balloons, chocolate and synthetic rose petals on the bed, I thought very kind of them to do this. The room is clean and have a coffee/tea machine with capsules that are replaced everyday. The breakfast is not with a huge variety of food, but I thought it good and fresh. There were hot food: bacon and sausages, scramble eggs, beans, mushrooms and rash brown... not hot: croissant, apple, yogurt, juice, milk, cereals, dry fruit and cheese.
