“Very warm welcome. Great breakfast with lots of choice, sociable as sat at a large table with others - well spaced out. Use of cosy sitting room. Lots of thoughtful touches to make us feel at home. Lovely walk over hill into Peel. Room was spacious and comfortable. No unnecessary plastic and Fairtrade/local food & drink where possible.”

“Comfortable big bed and goose down feathers. Large shower with complimentary toiletries. Nice touch with tea and flapjacks on arrival. Loved being on the farm with all of the animals especially the little cats Really felt part of the family. Great breakfasts too Especially the kippers! . Most of the jams and pickles made by Fiona. “Fiona and John are very welcoming. Lots of personal touches you just don't get in a Hotel. Just one small example is the very tasty homemade flapjacks which are left in your room. So much better than some biscuits in a plastic wrapper! It is stunning and peaceful location and views to die for, yet all you have to do is take the picturesque walk by the river (about 30 minutes) into Peel which has an abundance of fine restaurants. Breakfast is superb and caters to all taste and diets, including local kippers and smoked salmon. Or a healthy continental breakfast as you prefer I would have no hesitation in reccomending staying here and look forward to staying again. ”

“Knockaloe lives up to its promise of a lovely character property on a working farm in a beautiful setting just outside Peel. Our room was huge and very comfortable, with fantastic views and lovely little extras, including cakes, tea, coffee, port and sherry. Breakfast included a vast array of cooked options, all prepared to order and delicious. Fiona and her family were incredibly welcoming and helpful. Delighted we chose to stay here.”

“I absolutely loved it! I stayed in the bunkhouse which was super cozy! The heaters workwd a treat! Completely exceeded my expectations! A 30 walk from Peel so saved me getting taxis in and out and a similar distance to Glen Maye Waterfall and coastal walk which was unbelievable!!! Loved the farm and all the beautiful animals!!
