Room was excellent, with views over the north bay -- sunsets were amazing. Parking in the road outside the property was good, Room was very clean and airy. Breakfast was removed from our original booking, but discount on room price made up, and plenty of places to eat breakfast, close by, so wasn't a problem. All in all, a great place to stay, and great location.

We are Richard and Louise Tomlinson from LOCL Properties. We have taken over the management of this beautiful hotel in May 2022. We are a local management company and pride ourselves on providing a professional and friendly service. We also own and manage self catering properties in the Scarborough area. We love living and working in Scarborough - there is so much to see and do!! We love walking with our dogs along the North and South Bays and there are so many excellent restaurants within easy walking distance.

Property info

This beautiful hotel has full views of the North Bay and is walking distance to many cafes and restaurants. The hotel is now room only, with the convenience of self check in. Ourselves or our staff will be around every day for any questions and queries. The rooms will be serviced as normal. Tea, coffee and biscuits will be provided, along with fresh towels and linen. Neighborhood info

We have absolutely stunning views over the North Bay from La Baia with great views of Scarborough Castle to our right and beautiful views of the North Yorkshire Moors to our left. We are only 10 minutes walk away from most attractions, for example, the North and South Bay Beaches, Peasholm Park and the Shopping Centre. We have lots of different eating places close by, for example, fish & chip shops, cafes, chinese, indian and italian restaurants & pubs serving food as well as drinks. There will be a brand new Water Park opening in Scarborough in July, which we are really excited about (only 15 minutes walk from La Baia).
