Really comfy bed so I had a lovely nights sleep. Interesting, quirky decor. Good wifi. And a decent power shower. Great continental breakfast - lots of fresh fruit and a warm croissant too. Claire was very friendly and made me feel very welcome. I will definitely stay again when next on business near Chester.

Maison Claire is a beautiful boutique hotel and Claire and her staff were friendly, helpful and very welcoming. We were delighted to find that we had sole use of the garden during our stay as our room was at the back. Claire even provided us with cushions and blankets for the chilly evening! Excellent location - just a 5 minute walk from the city walls.

Absolutely gorgeous room - so stylish and quirky. Lovely details everywhere. Brilliant location. Parking is in nearby car park but good value for Chester and breakfast not available but manager had personal local relationships with other equally cool cafes. Most notably though the manager went out of her way to help. Our cousins were also in Chester but staying in a very disappointing hotel. Although she didn’t have room at Maison Claire the owner googled other options for my cousins and sent texts to us throughout the day to help my cousins out. A very kind and personable host whose warmth comes through in this fab hotel.

The guest house was perfect for a one night stay in Chester. Clean, cool decor everything you could need for a quick stay. Claire was amazing and even got us a table booked at a fab restaurant that was booked up! We had a great night due to her getting us in there and the location was perfect a very short walk to the centre! Parking was good value for money and easy to navigate just over the road. We would definatley come back. Thanks Claire.

    Hi Lisa We are social distancing and we are cooking breakfasts , the closest restaurant I’d recommend is chez jules . But all good restaurants are close by Regards Claire

  • DO YOU STILL D0 BRWAKFAST AND HOW MUCH EXTRA DO UOU COST FOR BREAKFAST REGARDS STEPHEN GRAY

    We are restarting breakfast from 1 st December , we have a new kitchen and new breakfast room area . We will be charging £10 . For returning guests we do a deal .

Maison Claire is a friendly Victorian house close to the centre of Chester. We are a traditional, family-run B&B combining comfortable, quality accommodation with a personal service, useful advice and local knowledge in a homely, relaxed atmosphere. We are accredited by quality & tourism, and have a three star rating. Maison Claire is just two minutes away from Chester city centre. All our rooms are comfortably furnished with en-suite showers, TVs and tea/coffee making facilities. Chester is a city steeped in history & culture. You can view and walk the city walls, visit Britain's oldest amphitheater, stroll along the River Dee or pay a visit to Chester Zoo. Chester also has a wealth of shops, boutiques and restaurants, the Designer Outlet Centre at Cheshire Oaks is just ten minutes away. Further afield is Manchester, Liverpool or North Wales. Parking is directly opposite. We also have free broadband for our guests. Please make contact with us before 2pm on the day of arrival, or sooner to arrange check in times.
