I loved how incredible the service was and how delicately beautiful the rooms were, so inkeeping with the hotel and its surroundings. The sheets were crisp and beautiful with blanket after blanket of warmth to snuggle under. I had the best time! I was made to feel so special and nothing was at all any trouble. The food was of top quality as was the tea and wine. As an experienced traveller, this was one i will not forget! Exactly to my taste and exactly what I needed on a break away from the kids. Outstanding!

staff, location, food, rest guests just excellent! food was just delicious (dinner and breakfast)! returning guests and I can see why! we arrived there after a long trip and they accommodated dinner for us with no trouble at all. I got confused and booked for a day earlier and they did change the date with no issues, which we really appreciated! staff so polite, discreet, just superb experience therefore 10 rating!!! we got a Easter chocolate egg before breakfast as it was Easter :) no mobile reception but there is wifi. Lastingham village is very picturesque! proper English cottage character in the hotel rooms and communal areas! very comfortable bed, clean room and bathroom with garden views! great walks around the building! we will return for sure!

We loved everything about this lovely property. The owners are incredibly welcoming. The staff is well trained and smily. The house itself is beautiful, with a lot of character. Rooms are airy and comfortable. The garden is a jewel. And food is excellent. All of this in a beautiful environment. A little paradise on earth!

This is a lovely, comfortable country house hotel in a picturesque location. We were warmly greeted by staff and the service was impeccable. Breakfast and dinner were both excellent and we really enjoyed our room overlooking the beautiful gardens.
