On arrival we were warmly greeted by Vance, who kindly offered to help us with our luggage.
They room was spotlessly clean with an amazing ensuite shower room, which looked as though it had recently been fully refurbished.
After a peaceful night, we were treated to an excellent breakfast, personally prepared by David, as good as any we've served in a 5* Hotel. Topped off with a fabulous pot of coffee, as we took in the expansive views of the countryside and watched the donkeys.

The two rooms are a great size with very comfortable beds. You have your own access to the garden with a separate entrance so you don't need to go through the house to get to your rooms. The garden is absolutely beautiful.

Breakfast was excellent, with a good choice of hot courses (some very original) and plenty of variety in what was offered in the way of cereals and juices. Warm and comfortable surroundings although the stone floors and wooden furniture may not be to everyone's delight. Large car park at the rear. Nice view of the church and green from the bedroom window.

We liked the open countryside around , the proximity to Holkham Hall and walks along the north Norfolk coast.
We found a boat permanently moored which was a café in Wells-next-the-sea. They specialise in Dutch pancakes. We can also recommend the pubs - The Dabbling Duck (one needs to book) and the Bull in Litcham (good food and a quieter atmosphere).
