The cottage is a really good size with large bedrooms as well as ample, comfortable living space. It was warm, really clean and tastefully decorated with everything we needed in the kitchen and an enclosed garden for our dogs. It's a short walk to the stunning beaches and a cosy pub too. We'd certainly go back.

Lazy Days Cottage was great for a family weekend. The grandchildren were thrilled to find the PlayStation and the dogs enjoyed the secure garden and the occasional dog treat from the jar in the kitchen cupboard! Winterton-on-Sea is a lovely village to wander around and it was handy to find the fish & chip shop and pub so close to the cottage. The huge sandy beach and sand dunes were just a few minutes walk away and we were fortunate to stay at a time when there were seals and their pups on part of the beach - a real bonus!

Hosts responded v quickly and have put a lot of thought and love into this house. Everything we needed and more.

We just loved the house. It is so relaxing, the name does the house justice. Close to the beach and we were lucky to see an enormous amount of Seals!

Love the ease of access the key lock boxes bring and freedom of when you arrive - there's no tie to meeting hosts at a set time etc. House is very tastefully decorated and everything you need is to hand, like a home from home, which really enables relaxation.

  • Hi is there space for two cars ?
    There is one large parking space on the property however, there is free on street parking to the rear on a very quiet road for a second car.

  • if you make a booking, I know a refund isn’t possible, are you able to amend a booking to another date if you can’t travel please? Thanks
    Hi there, yes we can easily move your booking. However, if the reason is Covid related (illness, change in tiers, lockdown, etc), with evidence we can authorise a full refund, no quibble. It has been such a difficult year, we need to be flexible.

Superior family friendly seaside property which welcomes pets. Sleeping 6 in 3 bedrooms with a secure private rear garden & private parking. A modern and spacious property with super fast WiFi, a wood burner and every comfort considered. Only 600metres to the dog friendly beach.
Orla & Paul have put a lot of thought and imagination into the property resulting is a cosy and comfortable sea side holiday cottage.
Winterton on Sea is a perfect English seaside village, with miles of unspoilt beaches, on the east Norfolk coast, close to Great Yarmouth. It boasts a wonderful pub, tea rooms, fish & chip shop, grocery store and post office. The village welcomes dogs year round and it is a great start point or base to explore the Norfolk Broads. From November to February, 1000's of seal pups are born on the beach making it a wonderful natural sight.
