“Great location, we loved the stag and the chick in the garden. We had a lovely big room with a spa bath which was lovely. Great views from the room. We are in the hotel restaurant which was really yummy and the customer service was great. ”

“The hotel was a former hunting lodge and was full of character and history. The hotel was in a beautiful location, surrounded by mountains and lochs. The hotel was exceptionally clean and comfortable. The food was excellent, but it was the attentive, helpful staff that truly made our stay memorable. “The location for our NC500 road trip was ideal , the Hotel was nice and peaceful, breakfast each day was very good with plenty of choice and the evening meals were very tasty, a special mention to Craig who was so friendly and helpful throughout our stay , he works tirelessly to make sure everything runs smoothly and also the lady who served the food of an evening , she was so pleasant and helpful and nothing was too much trouble, sorry I didn’t get her name ”

“Wonderfully placed old building at the foot of the loch and just off the path of the NC500. Very area appropriate decor in this classically designed building with high ceilings and plenty of space. It’s set back away from the road on its own little hill so the nights are quiet and also dark allowing for great star gazing from the property. ”

“The welcome we recieved was lovely. The food was great ,maybe a little more choice would have been good. breakfast was super. The room was comfortable and clean but the bathroom was fabulous with the lighted 'jaccuzi bath. The setting was amazing.”

“It’s an old hunting lodge and packed full of old world charm. Look out the window and you could easily see a stag or two wandering on the lawn and we were greeted by a very friendly chicken outside the front door. The staff are hard working and very friendly and there is nothing that is too much trouble. The room we had was large enough and the bed comfortable, the food is fine, not fancy but good value for money and the breakfast really first class.”
