The room had a sea view which was on a main road. The breakfasts were excellent and the deluxe scrambled egg was to die for. We enjoyed our stay very much, and hope to come again sometime. Weymouth is a beautiful town with lots of history. There are some very peaceful walks, and I loved all the Georgian architecture. There was a parking place at the back and at times you could park in front of the guest house.

Just across the road from Weymouth’s golden sandy beach and only a short stroll along the esplanade from the town center, the guest house offers comfortable accommodations and free parking.

Located right on the esplanade, Letchworth Guest House is just a short, pleasant walk from the heart of Weymouth and all it has to offer, including its restaurants, cinema, theater and the picturesque harbor. The Letchworth is also within walking distance of the Sea Life Center, Lodmoor Country Park and Radipole Lake Bird Sanctuary. Weymouth and Portland are at the heart of the Jurassic Coast and were home to the 2012 Olympics sailing events.

This Georgian, Grade II listed building houses charming, comfortable accommodations. All rooms are en suite, while the junior suite has a private external bathroom, and some rooms have sea views. All are extremely well furnished and decorated to a high standard.

Free private car parking is available for every guest.

  • When is the best time to visit your property for the perfect beach holiday?

    The beach is beautiful all year round so it depends on what you are looking for in a beach holiday. Summer months are obviously warmer but will be much busier, winter months are quieter.

  • Have u a lift to the rooms as my husband can't do stairs, (mobility problems)

    Sorry, no there is not a lift in the Guest House. Its a Georgian grade 2 listed building so the only access to the rooms is via stairs.

  • In the junior suite how private is the private bathroom, it looks like it is outside the room,

    The bathroom is outside the 2 other rooms that form the junior suite. The whole space is on our top floor and is private to that room so you won’t have anyone else using it or passing by.

The Letchworth Guesthouse offers good quality bed & breakfast, friendly hosts and a free car park. We know that time is precious so we aim to help our guests relax and enjoy their time away from home. Our guests experience is our priority, our warm, friendly and helpful approach will allow us to create the moments leaving you to create the memories. The Georgian Grade 2 listed building houses charming, comfortable accommodation and a good quality breakfast selection. Most rooms are ensuite (one room has a private bathroom) and most have a full selection of hot drinks, biscuits, toiletries, hairdryer and chiller, as well as fresh milk being being provided daily. At breakfast, help yourself to a choice of fruit, cereal, yogurts, cheese & juices, while we get to work cooking your hot food choice from the menu. .

We enjoy the Dorset countryside and of course the great beaches and love to welcome guests who like to explore and those who simply want to sit back and relax enjoying the surroundings. We would love to meet you so book up and let us look after you for your stay in Weymouth.

Weymouth is located on the world famous jurassic coast & is a firm favourite holiday destination. Located across the road from Weymouth's sandy beach, a 5-10 minute walk from the train station and a short walk into the town centre The Letchworth is well positioned with a free car park to help you explore Weymouth, the surrounding Dorset countryside and the Jurassic coast.
