• Central location with a stunning sea view of the Lighthouse, Harbour and beach. • Newly refurbished apartment • SMART TV including Sky TV. • Self-service check in • Enhanced cleaning • Welcome pack includes biscuits tea, coffee, milk and sugar • FREE on site private parking Lighthouse View apartment has an amazing view from the lounge over the Lighthouse, Harbour and beach. The apartment comprises a lounge/kitchen, separate double bedroom and separate shower room. The space has recently undergone a complete refurbishment and is modern and airy, situated on a quiet historic cobbled courtyard dating back to the 1700’s. The town centre and beach are both a 2 minute walk away, with amenities including pubs, shops and restaurants all within close walking distance. There are a number of Council long stay car parks within 10 minutes walking distance, which are Friars Way YO11 1HN Castle Road YO11 1BH Eastborough YO11 1NH There is a National Car Park (NCP) on North Street YO11 1LU and this is pre-bookable.
We are sisters who both live locally in Scarborough so if ever anything is needed we are easy to contact.
Prospect Place is on an historic cobbled courtyard which dates back to the 1700's. The old Blue Bell Inn, circa 1776, known later as The Bell Hotel is now the block of flats adjacent to Prospect Place. In it's hey day the Bell Hotel was one of Scarborough’s principal coaching inns. The Bell not only accommodated those who came to sample the Spa waters but was also the station for the prestigious daily Royal Mail coach to York, among other regular coaching services. . A reminder of the bustling coaching days can still be found in Prospect Place. Note the clipped brickwork on the end wall of No. 7, where careless coachmen sometimes misjudged the distance. The stables for the horses where situated where number 6 and 6A Prospect Place now stand. Together, the Bell Hotel and Prospect Place made up a unique 18th century enclave on the edge of the Old Town area.
