A warm welcome awaits at the Linden Tree - your hosts can recommend places to eat or visit in the area. Also mountain biking days out can be arranged, we have knowledge of plenty of biking routes within the area - take in the great scenery while challenging yourself to some of the many routes on offer.

All the guest accommodation have their own private access, there is also plenty of secure off street private parking available. A full English breakfast (if required) can be enjoyed in the breakfast room within the hosts property.

We are situated in Carlton Miniott, just 1.5miles from the market town of Thirsk, known for the famous vet James Herriott. An array of activities can be enjoyed in this wonderful part of North Yorkshire, including fishing, walking and cycling - we offer a secure, lockable area for any bicycles etc. Thirsk Racecourse is in walking distance from the property, with Thirsk railway station just a 3 minute walk away, where the historic city of York can be reached with a 15 minute train journey.
